Camping Etang du Camp is located in Sénergues, a medieval village in the Aveyron department. Sénergues is on the route to Santiago de Compostela. The campsite is situated at an altitude of over six hundred metres, on a plateau between the valleys of the Lot and the Dourdon. You can enjoy nature to the full, because the campsite is situated along the River Ouche and is full of flowers and plants. You will even camp between some rocks.

Camping in nature

With forty touring pitches (100-200 m2), camping here is not large-scale. But you do have plenty of room for your motor home, caravan or tent. Tall trees provide shade. The pitches are well distributed over the site and are mostly on grass. The nicest spots are by the river, which is as wide as a lake here. Are you coming without your own camping equipment? Then there are two mobile homes and four tents to choose from. They differ in luxury, but are all equally tidy.

Modest entertainment

The entertainment on the campsite is modest, but fun. You can play a few sports, such as table tennis and jeu de boules. On the river, kayaking is a popular activity. Children can enjoy themselves with some playground equipment. In bad weather, the recreation room offers a solution.

Culinary campfire

In the morning, fresh bread is available. But you can also order a complete breakfast including fresh fruit, yoghurt and orange juice. In the evening, the bar is the place to be for a pizza and a drink. In the high season, there is a lot of culinary experience outside. Campfires are regularly held to roast sandwiches. Also fun: the weekly group meal.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Friendly and well run campsite. Family owned and well managed, we can't rate this site highly enough. It's a great setting with the lake with lots of pitches along side it with a relaxed atmosphere. The amenities are good - a lovely café with a small shop and wifi access, spotless facilities and generally very well maintained. The owners are helpful and informative and the Aveyron is stunning area to visit - a hidden gem with lovely scenery, accessible rivers and very pretty towns and villages.

Small and welcoming. Lovely owners. I loathe the big companies-this campsite is a great example of a family-run site. Individual, helpful and welcoming.

This campsite has a most beautiful and peaceful location by the side of a lake. The grounds are superbly maintained with neat areas around the pitches and wilder areas with wildlife in mind. The owners have achieved a perfect balance with nature. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful with information on local places to visit, walks and bike rides to do. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind in beautiful countryside and do their best to make sure you get the most out of your stay.

Liked - The campsite was really pretty and very well looked after, with a beautiful fishing lake and colourful plants and flowers. We visited in September so didn’t get a chance to witness the animations, but the site owners were always available, and very friendly and helpful.
Disliked - Everything was perfect.

Travelling party: Couple

We found this site by accident as the one we originally headed for was closed, despite being shown in the Acsii book as open. Well, thank heavens it was closed - we have camped all over Europe & this is without a doubt one of our favourite sites. It;s peaceful & tranquil in a stunning setting, the pitches are large with trees for shelter from the hot sun & the owners are super - very friendly & helpful. If, like us, you prefer peace rather than laid on activity & entertainment, you will LOVE this place. We will definitely be back.

We spent a very enjoyable 13 nights at this very friendly site. We were able to visit some of the prettiest villages in France from this location. The owners are very friendly and will help you out whatever the problem. Definitely would recommend this site.
