Liked - We love this campsite!!! And such improvements in 12 months . We actually had 2 visits here . One later in September . Great staff great pitches when you know where you want to go and great Sanitary facilities .
The Picine is lovely and mobility friendly with excellent non slip steps !

Liked - The pool was lovely. Nice and quiet in the morning, busier in the afternoon. Restaurant food lovely and a good choice of menu with friendly staff. Handy having the bar and restaurant on site, but only a short walk into town for more bars and restaurants. Lovely bar on the side of the river just outside the campsite too with music on some evenings. Reception staff friendly and helpful also. Good size pitches also with additional areas for parking if you have a large tent so it’s not so much of a squeeze.
Disliked - We found the campsite very noisy at night. Many other campers did not respect the quiet time rule and it was often noisy until gone midnight. Some other noise was outside of the campsites control, such as noisy people walking up the river path on the perimeter of the campsite. As I say outside of the campsites control, but would put us off a long stay at this site again.

Liked - As always a lovely site to stay. It was blistering hot (July heatwave) so pool vital. Usually stay in late August early September when it is quieter. But in early July once French holidays started it was full. Luckily we had booked ahead. Reception very helpful in finding us a shady pitch due to heat.

Began by having to wait outside in a traffic jam for 20 mins alongside a building site. The pitch was overgrown. First night we ate at the restaurant, as my wife loves artichoke she ordered the vegetarian pizza, it arrived, no artichokes, she questioned the waiter who said there were none and they had been replaced with courgettes, no explanation when it was served and no apology offered. The children\'s playground is overgrown, lots of dog poo and so uneven - an accident waiting to happen for a child. The old children\'s play area although fenced off is just an eyesore, massively overgrown. What I can only imagine to be the old swimming pool is just left derelict. There is no bottle bank inside the camp, It appears that they are happy to spend money on a new bar area and wooden cabins but are not prepared to keep the site in good condition. We were camping through Spain & France using family run sites, all were so much better than this one. Will definitely not return. Heaven only knows how your inspector gives it 4 stars!!!

Liked - It is very convenient to city. I was out with friends and there was no taxis but the walk was short maybe 15 minutes.
Disliked - Couldn't use satellite dish due to the trees.

Liked - Clean camp with a woodland feel. Good for wildlife. Nice pool and facilities. Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked - Lots of permanent chalets . Can get noisy at weekends late into the night
