The campsite is wonderfully quiet and you can hear the birds from sunrise. The spacious pitches are laid out in rows on a lawn, along paved roads. There are a number of medium-sized deciduous trees that provide shade. Low vegetation and shrubs provide demarcation. Want to hire something? You can choose between a mobile home and a chalet.

Swimming and sunbathing

The swimming pool (open in peak season only) is eminently suitable for playing and cooling down. There is a toddler pool for the little ones. You will find some loungers here and there. Ideal for working on that tan. A fence surrounds the decorative tiles of the pool and a there is a lot of vegetation.

Cycling paradise

Children can play to their heart's content in the playground, at the table tennis tables, on the jeu de boules pitch and the beach volleyball field. In high season entertainment is offered including an excursion programme and guided walking tours. Bicycles (also routes) and canoes can be rented at the reception. From the campsite there are numerous cycling options.

Regional dishes

At the reception you can buy a few regional products as well as daily fresh bread. It is only a 7 km car ride to a supermarket. Don't feel like cooking? The campsite restaurant has a small menu and a bar with a terrace where you can enjoy delicious regional dishes.

Liked - We loved this site within walking distance of Coulon where you can take boat trips through the waterways. The young lady at reception could not have been more friendly or helpful. The company is lucky to have her. Compared to other staff at other sites she is a gem! Loved the site also. Huge pitch and lots of shade. Visited the bar in the evening which was lovely. We would definitely return if in the area.
Disliked - We had a meal at the restaurant and felt that there could have been more choice.

Liked - Beautiful peaceful site with friendly, helpful staff in fabulous location. Nice large pitches and facilities are enough for our needs.
Disliked - Toilets were smelly and needed a more thorough, regular cleaning. Some toilet seats were broken.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Our original plan was to stay for 7 nights before moving further south. However, due to a problem with our towcar, we ended up spending over 5 weeks at this lovely campsite. Can't think of a nicer place to be 'stuck' at and the care and friendliness shown to us by the owners and staff were exceptional. We can't thank them enough and look forward to returning next year.

Liked - stay here each time we pass through the region going out and returning from Spain,new owners have and are continuing to make subtle Improvements all round and the reception staff could not be more helpful,even arranging a vet for our pet passport formalities to return to the Uk,including ordering a taxi to take and wait for us.all part of the excellent service they offer. A first class site.
