Enjoy peace and tranquillity at this small-scale campsite in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. La Ferme de Clareau Campsite is a wonderful place for peace seekers, nature lovers, hikers and cyclists. Campers with and without children can enjoy a relaxing summer holiday here, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At this campsite you can count on a personal welcome and unrivalled hospitality. It is not for nothing that many campers come back again and again.

Camping by the river

The campsite has 42 camping pitches situated at various elevations and ranging from spacious to very spacious. Most pitches are close to the river and the others are higher up. There are both places with a lot of shade and places in the sun. Those camping without their own equipment can stay in one of 18 fully equipped rental accommodations.

Swimming with a view

The circular swimming pool with panoramic views is located on the hillside near the reception and the bar & restaurant. You can also cool off in the river that flows alongside the campsite. Just a five-minute drive from the campsite, you can take a dip in the man-made recreational lake between the mountains. Once the children have finished playing at the swimming pool and the river, they can enjoy themselves on the playground, at the table tennis table or in the recreation room with games. The campsite better suits the interests of young children than those of teenagers.

Liked - Heel ruim opgezette camping, grote natuurlijke plekken. Zwembad is niet super groot maar wel schoon en prachtige ligging met uitkijk op de bergen in de directe omgeving. Zwembad ligt bij receptie bovenaan de camping, stukje omhoog lopen is noodzakelijk. Rivier is ondiep meteen bij de camping maar als je stukje naar links loopt door de rivier zijn er wel ook wat diepere stukken om in te "dompelen". Springen van rotsen was bij de camping niet mogelijk. Goed stokbrood op de camping en lekker schepijs.
Disliked - Sanitair was eenvoudig, pp zich niet erg vonden wij maar het werd slecht schoon gehouden. 1 keer per 3 dagen was al veel. Eigenaresse gaf aan het erg druk te hebben en zo kwam ze ook over. Gestresst.

Liked - Prachtige camping met zeer ruime plekken. Onderaan de camping veel schaduw en dicht bij de rivier. De rivier is prachtig. Afwisselend laag en wat dieper water, erg helder. Zwembad lekker verfrissend en met prachtig uitzicht. Omgeving is prachtig. Heel veel mooie natuurlijke zwemplekken. Prachtig wandelen (naar het kruis vanaf de camping en montage de Raton) leuke stadjes in de buurt en als je wat verder rijdt een prachtige kloof om door het water te wandelen. (kloof de toulourance). Op de camping broodjes service en lekker ijs. Het is 5 min naar boven wandelen. Prima te doen.
Disliked - Sanitair is wat verouderd, maar prima te doen als het dagelijks wordt schoongemaakt. In de eerste week werd dit tijdens ons verblijf goed bijgehouden. TIjdens de tweede week helaas niet.
In het dorp een klein supermarktje met Verse slager, wil je naar een grote intermarche dan zul je 45 min morten rijden.
Camping heeft geen speeltuin. Wel een pingpong tafel.

Disliked - Jammer geen stromend water en afvoer, slecht meubilair, douche en WC gelegenheid te ver

Disliked - Iets meer comfort, ruimte voor vaat, bij het afwassen zou prettiger zijn geweest.
