Just an overnight stop but seemed to have excellent facilities for families with swimming pool & play area. These were well enough away from main site so there was no problem with noise. Large well maintained pitches but I can believe there would be a problem with soft ground. Toilet / shower facilities good but no separate blocks for males & females - not good!

We stayed at the site for just one night on our way further South in our 6m motorhome. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. Our on-line booking had been received so there were no problems with this. Our pitch was large and they are well spaced out. The site is large but when we were there, at the start of August, it was no too busy. The toilet block seemed quite new and was excellent.

Although we only used the site for an overnight stop we would be happy to stay there for longer.

Booked in for 3 nights 28-30th March 2015. Was given a large pitch to take my 7.5m Hymer with a Smartcar and trailer. Pitches are all grass and as the site has the river Seine on three sides, the ground will always be a little soft for motorhomes. My friends needed a tow when leaving as their motorhome could not cope with the soft ground.

The toilets and wash/shower facilities are very poor. No external door to the facilities so if it is cold outside, you are cold inside. Both my friends and I complained to the office about the lack of hot water in the showers. Action was promised to increase the heat (the shower temperature is pre-set) but nothing was done and I ended up using my motorhome shower and toilet as the wash room was freezing cold.

The sporting facilities seemed to consist of a strange gentleman wandering around the site dressed in camouflage clothing and carrying a large bow and quiver of arrows, and wearing a face mask presumable to disguise his identity. I would imaging that children would find this person frankly disturbing, let alone what parents would think!!

Best avoided for families.

Great site! Very clean and well run. This is the closest I\'ve ever come to being in Seine! Pitched right next to it. But if you have sprogs you might have to tie them up as there\'s nothing to stop them falling in. We were a bit worried about the cat, but she was fine! Will go again!

Sehr schöne Lage an der Seine, grosse Stellpläzte, fester Boden. Netter Empfang. Allgemein gute Lage.

We stayed here in September for a few days and found the site very good with one exception and that was the toilets / sanitaires which were tired and inadequate. If you have your own facilities on board then no problem. The site has large pitches and we were lucky enough to have a riverside one where you could watch the barges and cruise ships pass by. Excellent out door swimming and paddling pool. The lake forms part of the site so fishing is great for those who want. Views of the surrounding area and Chateau Gaillard, especially illuminated at night, great. Helpful staff and they have one of the best petanque grounds we have seen. Lovely riverside walks / cycling along the River Seine and into the very pretty town of Petit Andelys (don\\\'t miss going into the church for a little bit of history) which is only about 500 metres away. Easy walk into Les Andelys for the supermarket so very handy site for motorhome owners especially if they don\\\'t want to take their unit out.

Very nice and interesting stopover site on the banks of the river Seine. We stayed on our way south and on our way back 2 weeks later. Swimming pool was open. Much wildlife, including otters in the lake at the opposite side of the site to the Seine. Great views of the chateau on the hill, nice riverside walks or 10 minutes into the town with usual facilities, including vet for our dogs pre-ferry check. Will return.
