Spent 3 nights here after landing at santander. Our kind of site, quiet with a great little beach with a nice pitch for our camper. Weather was good, which helped I suppose. Not overly impressed with the nearby town which was a little soulless. Site facilities were good and a nice bar with an outside area looking over the beach. Would certainly visit again.
Campsite set right on the sea attached to a small secluded beach and is very scenic to wake up to every morning. There is a pitching area designated solely for tents on the side of the campsite by the play area which we initially pitched due to the privacy and view of the beach. However after an hour on this pitch we noticed a serious ant infestation all over the tent and even inside. It was unbearable so we moved to the front facing terraced pitches which were much grasses and ant free. The toilet facilities were very modern and clean and the showers had constant running water which is a rare luxury. The only issue is that there was no toilet roll or soap or hand dryers. The staff were friendly although only one member could speak English. The site advertises itself as being very peaceful which we found it to be apart from one night, out of nowhere there was a very loud party on the beach adjacent to the campsite which ran until the early hours of the morning. This seemed to have been a one off but it was so excessive that it was impossible to sleep. We rang the reception at the time and although somebody answered they could not speak English and nothing was resolved. This was very unexpected as the site had until that time been perfect. There is free wifi with a code from reception which was useful.
This was a brilliant stop over after arriving in the evening in Santander. the location is wonderful. we had the sound of the Atlantic crashing against the cliffs as we fell asleep.
The ablutions are spotless. Limitless hot water to the showers but no hot water to the hand basins.
We only stayed one night as travelling further. I imagine that this site is busy and noisy at the weekends and in the Spanish Summer holidays as the site had many permanent caravans with awnings, all cheek by jowl.
Direct access to an unspoiled beach. An excellent overnight stop.
que decir de este camping, acceso directo a la playa, ambiente familiar, respeto por las horas de descanso, las chicas de recepcion simpaticas, sin duda repetiremos

very nice campsite with wonderful views and beach. The cafe/bar serves good basic food (try the mini tuna pasty\'s). All the staff on the site are very helpful. We did not rate the restaurants around the area and the weather was so unpredictable even in July.
De camping stelt niet veel voor, er is wel vriendelijk personeel, de bar is gezellig, ook om te eten, de mooie baai is vlakbij, prima om van hieruit Bilbao te bezoeken. Prima sanitair
