The Camping Regio campsite is located in the Spanish village of Santa Marta de Tormes, on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Salamanca. You can bike there in less than twenty minutes. The campsite is part of a luxury hotel complex with all kinds of facilities. As a campsite guest, you may use these (sometimes for a fee). Here in western Spain, you'll be camping about a two-hour drive from Madrid and from the Portuguese border.

Camping and renting

The camping area consists of some 130 spots for touring campers (70–120 m2) and an equal number of campervan spots (80 m2). The terrain is flat almost everywhere. The spot you choose depends on whether you want to camp in the shade or not. The campsite does not have deciduous trees throughout. Don't have your own camping equipment? Book one of the 24 wooden bungalows (suitable for groups of up to five people) or one of the 10 mobile homes (for up to six people).

Luxury hotel = luxury holiday

The Camping Regio campsite is located on the grounds of a luxury hotel complex. And that's good news!

In fact, camping guests may use all the facilities belonging to the hotel. How do you feel about two outdoor pools, multiple tennis courts, a restaurant, a café and a supermarket? This represents fantastic swimming and sports opportunities. It's easy to take good care of your inner being here.

Water fun!

The hotel's two pools cater to young and old. Adults can swim laps in the large, rectangular pool. The youngest campers can splash around in the wading pool a little further down the road. Next to the pools is a beautiful sunbathing area with parasols. There are also deck chairs where you can relax with a good book.

Liked - This Campsite is set in a perfect location for visiting Salamanca, easy access from the Autoroute Well controlled access in and out of the site The pitch was well spaced and free from any previous campers , electric point was good with plenty water points
Showers and toilets spotlessly clean and a fresh scent, a credit to your staff. The swimming pool and area also very clean and cared for , lifeguard on duty all the time. The local bus to Salamanca stops at the site which is brilliant and a very good service too. All in this is a tremendous campsite and we will be back again , Thank you

Liked - We loved the site and the meal we had in the hotel terrace- excellent value for money on an ACSI card
Disliked - I was perplexed that there was no earth in the electrical connection which I checked over various pitches that my lead could stretch to, I thought it was my meter but no , in all cases thereafter my meter isn’t the problem the problem is dangerous wiring on the pitches

ideal for visiting the very pretty town. by bus which took about 15 minutes. Not very busy so plenty of space which was good as it took some time to find a working electric point. Good wifi reception.
I used the toilet but really didn’t like the look of the shower so used ours. It needs some t l c but fine for a day or two. felt very safe. We ate in the hotel restaurant which opened at 8pm. You could have a discount menu. it cost ACSI price we wouldn’t have wanted to pay more.

Interesting campsite, as we went in Winter site was very barron, pitches uneven so need levelling blocks, motorhome service point good, but pipe for drinking water was broken so had to fill motorhome by hand, toilets and shiwers very good, not heated tho,reception staff super friendly, bus stop by entrance cycle to town about 25 mins good cycle routes, worth a vist we stopped for 2 nights as we made our way south, would not stop any longer.

Liked - Reception, shower block, pool all good.
Site is well connected with bus arriving at gate every hour. Price very good.
Disliked - This campsite looks abandoned. It needs the pitches to be maintained to a basic level. Ground very uneven, shrubs and trees uncared for.

We only stayed overnight and because of the time of year and the location, we chose this site because of the heated toilets! Overnight temperature was below freezing and the toilets were NOT heated. Furthermore, the door to outside was always open. Pitches not brilliant, but OK and more or less level.
