Nice campsite with easy access to the beach. But beware the venomous fish (faneca?) found here. it is best to wear protective footwear when walking in the sea.
We arrived with high expectations having been recommended. The view did not disappoint in any way. Howver, the site itself was badly maintained -- grass had not been cut for at least a month (in mid September) and the pitch was untidy and full of obsolete ropes, lights and parking cones. Rubbish bins at the entrance to the site were more than overflowing - although this was the same throughout the area, so it was probably not the camp site\'s fault. We had no hot water for the 2 days we were there due to a faulty part, so we only paid half price, which was fair enough. It happens....The restaurant having come really highly recommended was truly dreadful. Nothing fresh at all on the daily menu.
We came across this site and saw a lovely spot right in the beach, the lovely lady on reception saved us this space for the next day, we arrived and was in heaven for a few days. The view was to die for, kids were able to wonder onto the beach and we could see them from our caravan. There is a public car park for the beach right above our pitch and we wandered if it would be safe to leave our belongings outside, but we didn\'t have any trouble at all. It felt very safe.
The staff are lovely and very helpful, the restaurant is nice, it seemed quite expensive so we only had a few basic things here.
It was the most expensive site that we stayed on, but it was an amazing spot. No swimming pool, showers were clean but water was not too warm, OK on hot days.
You can walk or cycle to the village easily on a path all the way or continue up around a hill on the road to another amazing beach. Also passing a bakery for breakfast, selling hot squid pie!
Very few English this side of Spain so worth learning some Spanish.
Would definitely return to this site.

Beautiful spot with an amazing view of the sea we saw Dolphins every day quite close to the shore an absolute treat. Overall the site is okay if somewhat dated facilities but they are kept clean and tidy. The main issue is the black dust that settles everywhere and marks the awning, your feet and shoes, car, van etc. The staff re very pleasant and helpful there is a good wifi room with a reasonable signal.
The town of Muros is nice with loads of good restaurants and Santiago is only an hour\'s drive away.
Arrived 12th June and enjoyed unusually good hot and sunny weather (26-32 degrees) for nearly two weeks so just stayed!
We pitched on the lower section where there are 15 pitches running parallel to the white sandy beach. There is also the main upper campsite with only a couple more pitches with the view of the beach, but plenty of other places, look carefully at the size of the pitches when choosing as they vary greatly. Also some grassy but others part grass, part dark sand/soil so ground sheet required.
No shop (bread to order) or pool but easy access to the beach and a good bar and restaurant and terrace overlooking the beach. Large lounge for wifi, although this was rather intermittent, book exchange and TV. Two washers and one drier and a clothes line area as no washing lines across pitches. Two way blocks, OK, one being smaller and more modern.
We found it to be a very friendly site with many other English people staying, all pleased to be sociable in the evenings and staff friendly but limited English. Good restaurants in Louro, which is a pleasant walk down the boardwalk, and also a small supermarket.
The beach is VERY popular with locals on a weekend who often come late afternoon and stay into the evening. Muros is 4km, nice to walk to! Markets on Tuesday\'s and Fridays and plenty of cafes along the road through town. There is a fair sized Eroski on the outskirts just up the road to Sta. Comba, look our for their sign.
A pleasant 50km ish drive takes you through many other villages to the lighthouse at St Cabo Finisterre, and Santiago de Compostela is another great day out (12 noon Pilgrims service in the cathedral every day, but go 40 mins early for a seat!)
We had a thoroughly good time and would fully recommend but the good weather made all the difference.
