This rural area in the west of Denmark is ideal for a camping holiday with children in the midst of wide-open nature. In addition to wonderful cycling and walking opportunities, there is also plenty for children to do near the Houstrup Camping campsite. You can walk over to 'SeaWest' with the longest water slide in Denmark and a bowling alley. And for a walk on the North Sea beach, just grab your bike. The campsite's heated outdoor pool will be the highlight for water lovers young and old.

Camping in West Jutland
Via road 181, which runs from the south past the town of Esbjerg, you will reach the Houstrup Camping campsite. The small towns of Nørre Nebel and Houstrup are nearby, as is the coast. The building that houses the reception has a neat and tidy appearance, and that's where you will also find the shop, the snack bar and the terrace. All facilities, including the sports field and miniature golf course, are conveniently located together. One thing that strikes you as you walk across the medium-sized campsite is its peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
Ample privacy
The spacious, demarcated pitches are a definite plus. The fairly high hedges provide separation and, of course, plenty of privacy. There are two sanitary buildings on the clearly laid-out, rectangular site, which look neat and clean. In addition to the many touring sites, there are also campers with permanent sites, mostly Danish families. For anyone without their own tent, caravan or motorhome, there are furnished hiker's huts that can accommodate up to four people.
