Huttopia Etang de Fouché campsite is a child-friendly campsite in the heart of Burgundy. The campsite is situated on a large recreational lake, a great place for swimming and fishing, but also for walking around. Burgundy is a true walking and cycling paradise. And a trip to the capital Dijon is also well worth it.

Touring pitches and lodge tents

There are around 160 spacious touring pitches on the green campsite. Some pitches are situated between the trees, others are slightly more open. Separated from the touring pitches are the rental accommodation. You can choose from modern and comfortable lodge tents and chalets, gypsy caravans or mobile homes. The lodge tents and chalets are new.

Children's pool

Although there are few facilities for children (the playground on the campsite is not too big), the campsite is still nice for the smaller camper. This is mainly because of the swimming pool and the lake. The swimming pool has a shallow area with a fountain, especially for toddlers, and a slightly deeper area for older children.

Etang Fouché: a large recreational lake

For adults the bath is slightly less suitable, but fortunately the campsite is situated next to a large recreational lake: the Etang Fouché. Around the lake there are several beaches, from where you can enter the water. The lake is also child-friendly: there is a large water slide, you can hire paddleboards and there is a swimming area with supervision by lifeguards. If you prefer to stay dry, but prefer to sit by the water, there are plenty of places where you can fish. A quiet evening walk along the lake is also lovely.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Het is een mooie camping. Er zitten veel Nederlanders op deze camping, daar moet je van houden. Ook zijn er heel veel kleine kinderen die dag en nacht veel lawaai maken. Rust is er niet op de camping en het zwembad is eigenlijk te klein met zoveel kleine kinderen. Ook moet je altijd ver rijden om iets te doen, stadje, dierentuin, boodschappen. Het meer is mooi om langs te lopen maar heb je na 2 x ook wel gezien. Verder zijn er in de buurt geen mogelijkheden om te wandelen in de natuur. Prijs van het eten op e camping is erg duur. Toiletten en douches zijn niet super, worden wel iedere dag schoon gemaakt. Zijn grotendeels open waardoor er veel spelende kinderen zijn. De Douches zijn meestal niet erg warm en je moet te vaak op de knop drukken om te kunnen douchen. Er zijn eigenlijk te weinig douches en toiletten voor zoveel mensen.

Travelling party: Couple

Geweldige camping met superaardige managers en medewerkers. Sanitair(gebouw) is prachtig en wordt goed schoongemaakt en onderhouden door het personeel. Altijd weer jammer dat de gasten er zo slordig mee omgaan en het vies achterlaten. Enig “minpuntje” is dat je voor water altijd naar het sanitairgebouw moet. Watertappunten zijn er helaas niet.

Travelling party: Seniors

Mooie camping met ruime plaatsen. Helaas geen watertappunten op het terrein. Bij aankomst ,25-08-2020, bleek er van de twee sanitair-gebouwen er al een afgesloten te zijn. Met het oog op de CORONA maatregelen leverde dit veel drukte op in het overgebleven sanitair. Mede doordat druivenplukkers (ondergebracht in de huisjes) ook gebruik maakten van dit sanitair. Verder prima camping.
