About fifty kilometres southeast of Paris, directly on the river Seine, you will find camping La Belle Etoile. Here you can camp on sheltered touring pitches or on lawns with an open character. For children there is plenty to do on the campsite. Especially in the new swimming pool, which is covered and heated, you will often find them.

Sheltered and open pitches
The campsite is divided into several fields, with a total of 156 touring pitches. Many of the touring pitches are sheltered between hedges and in the shade of trees. Other pitches are situated on a field with a more open character. Most of the rental accommodations, thirty in total, are chalets and mobile homes. But you can also camp in one of the Coco-sweet tents.
Covered and heated swimming pool
Since 2019 campsite guests can take a dip in the brand new swimming pool (heated) at the campsite. Also with rain, because the pool is covered. When the sun shines, the roof is partly opened, so you can swim and enjoy the sun. Adjacent to the pool is a paddling pool. Kaa, the snake from The Jungle Book, separates the paddling pool from the large pool, so small children can splash safely in the shallow water.
Pizza with brie
It is good to relax on the pavement café of the pizzeria it is located near the pool. Here you can go for a quick snack, but more extensive dining is possible. Mainly pizzas are served, with one specialty in particular: a pizza topped with Brie de Melun, the cheese made in Melun.
