In the heart of the Plateau de Millevaches regional natural park, Flower Camping La Plage is truly a camping destination for people who love the outdoors. This pleasant campsite overlooks a large lake with a sandy beach where guests can enjoy swimming, canoeing and pedalos.

Camping at the waterfront

At Flower Camping La Plage the pitches are located on one of the four little streets. The trees, plants and shrubs characterise the spacious pitches. Those who need little comfort, choose a nature pitch without electricity. Many pitches offer a view of the lake, but are not always flat. On the gently sloping terrain there are also a number of good-looking sturdy lodges and furnished tents. The two sanitary blocks are neat and well maintained.

Private beach

A small tunnel under the road takes you to the campsite's trump card: the beautiful sandy beach and the lake of Bariousses. In the clear water you can swim, rent a canoe or ride a pedalo. During the summer months, a small bar is open and a lifeguard keeps an eye on you. Even when the weather is not so good you can swim at the campsite, because at the front near the reception is a heated swimming pool that can be covered.

Fun and games

In the summer holidays children make friends at the Kidsclub. Five days a week there is plenty of fun with an entertainment team, for example to draw together or play at the bouncy castle. Children can also have fun in the playground on the beach. For teenagers there is a ping-pong table and there is plenty to do around the lake.

Travelling party: Couple

really nice site over looking the lake have to go down steps and through a short tunnel to access lake and beach. road is not very busy.
very peaceful and very nice small pool with jacuzzi jets.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Nice walk to town. Toilet block spotless
Disliked - When I came here before we were given pitch next to river that is far more suitable than the one we have been given. We are now next to main road in an area that reminds me of a gypsy camp. Not good enough considering we paid the highest amount for a pitch. Now looking forward to a restless night with road noise. I’m afraid we won’t be back and will review accordingly.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Liked - Facilities starting to look tired. Receptionist not as helpful as previous stays.
Disliked - Firework display opposite was very nice but loud music continued until 4.00am. Not the campsite’s fault but would have appreciated being made aware beforehand.
