Flower Camping La Chênaie is located close to the town of Yport, between the coastal towns of Dieppe and Le Havre. Here you camp on the wooded hillside, under tall trees or on the edge of the forest. With an indoor swimming pool, younger guests can enjoy themselves on the campsite, while the Normandy coast with its chalk cliffs offers beautiful walks along the Atlantic Ocean.

Wooded pitches

On the green, wooded campsite, mainly rental accommodation define the picture. Over sixty well-maintained chalets and mobile homes are situated on the hillside, in the shade of tall trees. Some of the rental properties offer a beautiful view of the campsite. There are around forty touring pitches on a more open terrain. These pitches are not particularly spacious and are not delimited.

Amenities: simple but good

The facilities at the campsite are quite simple, but good. In the shop, near the reception, you can get some groceries. In high season there is also a snack bar. On the campsite you'll find two toilet blocks: one in the reception building, the other on the other side of the campsite. The sanitary facilities on the campsite are modern and tidy.

Chalk cliffs and coastal towns

The Normandy coast is never far away when camping at Flower Camping La Chênaie. Less than half an hour's walk and you're already on the beach at Yport. You'll find many restaurants in this charming coastal village. The sea is a little less suitable for swimming here, but walking along the impressive coast is all the better. The steep, white chalk cliffs run all the way to Fécamp, the harbour town north of Yport.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Liked - We had a good stay with 4 persons.
The place where the canping is situated: close to the sea and close to a very nice village (Yport) is very nice. The camping has a good swimming pool. It is surrounded by wood, with places in the sun as wel in the shadow.
Disliked - The places are a bit small.

Liked - From the moment of our arrival we were made very welcome and as it was my wife’s birthday they kindly gave her a bottle of cidre which we enjoyed with our meal in the restaurant that evening. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and will return

Liked - Good location for stay before travelling to ferries
Disliked - Some pitches tight fit for average motorhome size. Not good in wet weather as grass pitches.. Some vans can find it difficult to set up.

Liked - The site is compact but the pitch that was allocated was perfect for our caravan at 8 metres in length. The site also has a covered swimming pool which looked excellent but due to just a one night stopover did not get the chance to experience.

Liked - Very clean sanitary block.
Disliked - I received an email on booking saying I had to pay 300 euros as a deposit. This was a shock but I soon realised it was a mistake. Arrival time online said 14.00 hours but having arrived for this time , reception did not open till 15.00. The queue was very long. The small garden on entering the campsite was full of weeds and did not give a good first impression.

Liked - Location
Disliked - Very poor wifi despite no phone signal - not even 3G. Asked to be moved to a better pitch nearer reception (where there was improved telephone signal and wifi) and was told all the pitches were reserved. These pitches (and there were many) were left empty throughout our stay.
