Schloß Helmsdorf lies with its small private marina directly on the Bodensee. This spaciously designed campsite, situated on the extensive grounds of a decommissioned beer brewery, is completely geared towards water sports. With its ideal location, luxury and modern facilities and fine restaurant featuring regional dishes, it's a wonderful place to camp. The campsite grounds are mostly occupied by permanent pitches, but there is a separate area for touring campers.

Separate touring pitches
This large campsite is mostly made up of permanent pitches (230), but touring campers are also welcome here. If you plan to stay in the peak season, be sure to book a spot beforehand because it gets busy in the summer. There are eighty touring pitches, situated on a separate part of the campsite. This camping terrain is situated behind the restaurant and does not lie directly on the lake. The pitches are numbered and are beautifully laid out on grass fields. Some are paved with gravel. The campsite grounds are slightly sloping, but you will be able to pitch your caravan without any problems. A separate field for tents is situated on the outskirts of the campsite, close to the main road.
Boating on the Bodensee
Schloß Helmsdorf's view is always aimed at the Bodensee. The private marina has enough space for you to moor your boat (for an additional fee). From the campsite, you can boat straight onto the large lake. Next to the marina is a fine spot where you can sunbathe by the lake in the green grass.
Excellent sanitary facilities
Schloß Helmsdorf sets a high standard for other German campsites with its excellent sanitary facilities. The modern sanitary facilities in the centrally located toilet block are in tip-top shape and always kept immaculately clean.
