This child-friendly gem is lies in Lower Saxony, between the cities of Hamburg and Hanover. Rural, yet only a ten-minute walk from the village of Müden with the Lüneburger Heide right next door. This oldest nature reserve in Germany is a Valhalla for nature lovers. Peace and quiet is one of the key words in the midst of this charming campsite that has it all, including spacious pitches and a friendly restaurant.

Find the pitch that suits you best

The whole site has a well-kept appearance and is beautifully landscaped. There are open grassy areas where the pitches are playfully arranged. Under the tall trees you will stay on spacious pitches on slightly sloping ground. Further on, you will come across beautiful, bounded pitches with plenty of privacy. So every camper at Camping Sonnenberg can enjoy a suitable spot.

Families with children love the luxury safari tents and the apartment is also in demand by guests without their own camping equipment. A pitch with private sanitary facilities is also available.

Pizza, music and sandwiches

At the entrance to the site is the terrace with an outdoor and indoor area. An evening of music or karaoke is scheduled a few times a week in the high season. You can then also join us for a bite to eat, for example a pizza or something else from the small menu.

If you like to start the day with fresh rolls you can order them from the front desk the night before and your holiday-feeling will be complete. There is also a supermarket two kilometres from the campsite.

Mooie camping met verschillende mogelijkheden qua staanplaats zoals terras, tussen bomen en op een grasveld. Ligt rustig in de natuur. Er zijn meerder toiletgebouwen.

Een hele fijne en rustige camping met ruime plaatsen. Het sanitair is enigszins gedateerd, maar wel heel schoon en netjes. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar voor zijn gasten. Helaas was het restaurant vanwege omstandigheden niet geopend, maar in Müden zijn voldoende alternatieven.

Prachtige camping midden in de natuur, ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten (let wel, Duitse fietspaden zijn geen Nederlandse fietspaden maar goed te doen) Zeer vriendelijk beheerderspaar (ook al zijn het liefhebbers van de Snollebollekes) dat is verder geen nadeel hoor)) Sanitair is verouderd maar brandschoon dus ook geen probleem. Ik zeg 100%.

Voor de derde keer inmiddels weer een aantal dagen om deze mooie camping gestaan.
na de vriendelijke ontvangst een mooie plek uitgezocht en genieten van de natuur en omgeving. Heerlijk wandelen en fietsen op de Süd Heide rondom Müden am Ortze

Wij hebben met veel plezier 3 maal op deze mooie camping gestaan, alles was altijd naar wens. Maar deze keer ben ik door de eigenaresse in het bijzijn van mijn gasten en vele campinggasten op een receptlose manier aangesproken. Dit omdat ik mijn gasten niet had aangemeld. ( ik wilde dit wel maar de deur naar de receptie was gesloten.) Man vond het nodig om op 10 meter afstand ( de weg naar de caravan was schijnbaar te lang) mij terecht te wijzen en mijn gasten van de camping te verwijderen. Dit heeft mij erg aangegrepen en voor mij was de vakantie voorbij. Geen excuses van haar achteraf. Dus voor mij helaas geen vakantie meer op de Sonnenberg

Fijne vakantie doorgebracht. Prachtige camping middenin de natuur en schitterende omgeving mede om te fietsen. Aardige eigenaars en zeer goed onderhouden camping.

Mooie ruime plekken met mogelijkheid om in de zon en in de schaduw te zitten.
Prima camping om te verblijven.
Er zijn niet veel douches.

Voor de 3e keer op deze camping gestaan, altijd een warm welkom door Marielle en Marni, de broodjes bij de caravan afgeleverd, heerlijk gegeten in het kleine maar goede restaurant op camping, fiets en wandelroutes, mooie omgeving, zeker nog eens terug,
