This campsite is located in the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District, about eighty miles north of Berlin. With an abundance of forests, there is plenty of natural beauty to enjoy during your camping holiday. The campsite is located directly on the Drewensee lake, one of hundreds in this region, offering many fun water options: boating, fishing, snorkelling, diving, swimming or canoeing.

Camping or renting?

There are pitches of different sizes (70-150 m2). They are located on an open lawn or more on the edge of the forest. In total there are 150 touring pitches and 70 permanent annual pitches. Don't have your own camping equipment? Then you should book one of the three mobile homes. Your camping neighbours are mostly from Germany.

Land and watersports

The campsite is on the lake and you can walk right into the water. The little beaches are sand. The campsite's jetty is one of the best featuers. Here there is room for about sixty boats. So feel free to bring yours! Would you prefer to keep your feet dry? Then there is also plenty to do. How about table tennis or beach volleyball? Children will love the playground. There is also entertainment (in German) twice a week during high season. Also fun: the bi-weekly campfire nights where you can bake bread and make music with other campers.

Eating and drinking

Some food items are available for purchase in the reception area. For other groceries you will have to go to the nearby town of Wesenberg (8 km). There are also some restaurants, shops and a castle there. In high season there is a tent at the campsite where drinks and some snacks are served.

Travelling party: Seniors

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen zahlten die Kurtaxe, den Pfand für den Dusch Sensor und bekamen unseren Platz zugewiesen.
Die Platznummern stehen auf eingelassenen Steinen in der Wiese...
Wenn man sich damit beschäftigt hat, ist es einfach zu verstehen.. wir mussten etwas überlegen und wurden von anliegenden Campern geholfen ..
Der Platz ist eine Große Wiese mit großen Bäumen, direkt am See. so konnte man den Wagen so stellen wie man wollte(Sonnig oder mit Schatten. Die Wege zum See und Sanitärbereich waren kurz, Der Platz eben und sauber. Wlan gab es nicht, aber eine sehr gute G4 Verbindung.
Brötchen (Aufbackware) kann man am Vortag für den nächsten Morgen bestellen und die Brötchentüte wird persönlich händisch beschriftet (Grüße und einen Tagesspruch) . Da war nett!
Toiletten und Duschen waren sehr sauber, manchmal musste man eine Tür weitergehen , aber gegen Schmutzfinken hat die Reinigungskraft keine Chance ...
Die Duschen sind geschlossene Kabinen , Top! Der Sensor für die Wasserfreigabe funktionierte gut, Wasser läuft sofort, wenn der Sensor angesteckt wird und hört erst auf wenn man ihn wieder abnimmt, oder das Geld abgelaufen ist. Es gibt keine Regler für den Wasserdruck oder -stop. Das Problem haben die meisten Duschen mit Chip , Sensor oder Münzen... Sehr unpraktisch. beim einseifen...
Beim letzten Platz war das Duschen auch im Preis inbegriffen und man brauchte nichts. Die Duschen funktionierten wie zu Hause.
Der Platz ist Abend auch sehr dunkel, so das man eine Lampe mitnehmen sollte.
(Die Pächter haben gesagt sie werden das ändern)
Sonst war alles Top, Der See ist sauber und nicht überlaufen, man kann direkt in den Wald gehen, die Wege sind zum Teil ausgeschildert .
Der kleine Laden am Platz ist gut sortiert.
In den Orten Wesenberg sind viele Lokale mit Terrassen, wo man gut essen kann ..
Für uns war es einer der schönsten Campingurlaube, den ich gerne weiter Empfehle!

Travelling party: Couple

Schöner Platz am See, Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, leider nur eine Imbissbude auf dem Platz. Mit Hund kann man gleich schön im Wald neben dem Platz spazieren gehen.
