Camping Südeifel is in beautiful, natural surroundings in the south of the German Eifel region. Here, you camp next to the River Prüm, on the outskirts of the village of Irrel. The campsite is ideal for people looking for quiet and wanting to enjoy the countryside. From here, you can get to the Teufelsschlucht in no time; it is a well-known gorge where you can go on lovely walks.

Traditional camping or glamping

Whether you bring a tent, caravan or motorhome, or prefer a bit more luxury, everything is possible at Camping Südeifel. You camp on a spacious and open grass field, with views of the trees and right by the Prüm. You can paddle in the river and throw out a line. Furthermore, there are several furnished safari tents for the ultimate glamping experience. The toilet and washing facilities are recently renovated and look great.

Try delicious Italian dishes

Camping Südeifel is the right address for people seeking quiet above all. So do not expect extensive amenities or an activities programme. You don't have to leave the campsite for a tasty meal. You can enjoy delicious Italian dishes at restaurant-pizzeria Da Toni. The pizzas are made with fresh ingredients.

Go out and about in the Eifel

The Eifel is known for its stunning natural beauty. The waterfalls of Irreler are in Südeifel nature park. The waterfalls can be reached via a suspension bridge that opened in 2023. It's a lovely area for walking. The well-known Teufelsschlucht is also close by. Here, you walk between the imposing rock formations that originate from more than 200 million years ago.

Travelling party: Couple

Wij zijn een lang weekend geweest en hebben overnacht in een glamping. Wat een geweldige ervaring en mooie omgeving van de Eifel. De glamping tent is voorzien van alle gemakken. Een eigen wc, koelkast, gasfornuis en zelfs een pelletkachel. Verder prima bedden en een eettafel met stoelen in de tent. Ook kun je heerlijk op de veranda zitten of gezellig beneden aan de picknick tafel met vuurschaal. Ook de eigenaar Rick en zijn vrouw Brenda zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor ons was dit een heerlijk weekendje weg en echt een aanrader om te boeken!

Travelling party: Seniors

Fijne camping, mooie plaatsen langs de rivier en verder op het middenveld een dubbele rij plaatsen naast elkaar. Een vriendelijke uitbater die ons naar onze plek begeleide. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn enorm mooi, de douches (vooral op de benedenverdieping) zijn ruim, zeer modern en geven een sterke straal water. Je kan de temperatuur volledig zelf regelen (tot zeeeeeer heet) en hier zijn geen drukknoppen. Op het terrein is ook een heel gezellig Italiaans restaurant (prijs/kwaliteit zeer ok). Verder is het hier zeer rustig. In het dorp is er een groot warenhuis en een mooie bakker. Van hieruit zijn er tal van mooie wandeling en fietstochten te maken. We raden deze camping zeker aan.

Wij hebben voor de 4e keer 3 heerlijke weken gehad op camping Südeifel. En het is zeker niet de laatste keer!
Dit keer met nieuwe eigenaren Rick, Brenda en hun zonen, tot (meer dan!) volle tevredenheid! Ze zijn super aardig en heel erg behulpzaam.
Het sanitair ziet er erg netjes uit en wordt goed schoon gehouden.
Je kunt hier kamperen voor een hele nette prijs.
Bij restaurant Da Toni die op de camping zit kun je heel lekker eten, van tevoren reserveren is wel aan te raden.
De winkels zijn op loopafstand.
Kortom, een echte aanrader!

Sanitair en restaurant een renovatie gehad, waar menig jaloers op kan zijn. Heerlijke doorreiscamping waar een klein riviertje langsstroomt die de serene rust van de camping nog meet glans geeft.

Mooie rustige camping aan een beekje, loopafstand van het dorp. Zowel oud als nieuw sanitair, alles perfect schoon. Ondanks de wat ouderwetse uitstraling, prima camping. Toerplaatsen gescheiden van de jaarplaatsen. Bakkerij op 600 m voor de broodjes ‘s ochtends. Door Corona was restaurant en bar gesloten.

Travelling party: Seniors

Nette camping alleen waren er heel veel vliegen, niet alleen op de camping maar de hele omgeving. Het was ook jammer dat met de smoes Carrona het restaurant, de snackbar en de broodjesservice niet aangeboden werden. De receptie was zelden open zodat er gebeld moet worden en er na wachten een minder vriendelijke dame kwam opdagen.
