The campsite Gythion Bay is located on the south coast of the Greek Peloponnese region, right on the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. On this beach campsite, you are camping in the shadow of orange and olive trees. With a luxurious outdoor swimming pool looking out on to the beach, a restaurant with a terrace under the olive trees and modern sanitation, this Greek campsite is complete.

Camping in the orchard

With your tent or caravan among the olive trees: at the Gythion Bay campsite, you camp the Greek way. The campsite is located in a large orchard, where olive trees, orange trees, fig trees and nut trees alternate with each other. They provide shady spots, but some of the three hundred touring sites are also in the sun. You can camp right on the beach, on demarcated pitches.

Mediterranean Sea

From the swimming pool, you have a view over the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Beach and campsite are separated from each other by a fence, but you'll just walk through the gate and have your feet in the sand. There is space for everyone on the broad sandy beach. There is a beach volleyball pitch for everyone who wants to play a round. Or dive into the clear water of the Mediterranean Sea.

Restaurant and mini-market

The restaurant is just near the beach and the swimming pool. Here you can enjoy a Greek meal on the terrace in the shadow of the olive trees. Or have a glass of wine or cocktail and enjoy the long summer evenings. Next to the terrace, there is also a cosy bar where you can toast your holiday.

Excellent staff and campsite, other campers very considerate. Mild criticism - some overhanging trees make some pitch access difficult and access to grey water drainage quite difficult.

We hebben genoten van de ruime plek, het mooie zwembad en de zee. Sanitair is top en wordt goed schoon gehouden. En fantastische medewerkers. Op de camping constateerde ik een breuk in de beugel van het fietsenrek. Ik vroeg bij de receptie om hulp en wat er toen gebeurde overtrof alle verwachtingen. Ik werd compleet ontzorgd. Twee dagen later was de beugel perfect gerepareerd en ik mocht er niets voor betalen!

This is my favourite campsite in Greece. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with quality services. The restaurant is lovely and very reasonable. Right next to a beach and set in an olive grove. Children seem to love the place and there is a good playground. We've been 2 years running and it is on our list for next year.

The campsite is very very nice. All the facilities are excellent. Restaurant is nice but feels a little cramped and dull compared to the taverna next door. Bar is lovely. Access into the site is very good. Our XL pitch was a little on the small size. Beautiful beach just outside the site. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Very nice campsite with excellent sanitair. Unfortunately the mini market was not open yet. Did not use the pool as the beach was gorgeous. Did not use the camping taverna as we went to Takis taverna on the beach but according to others the camping taverna would be good. Enough large places for campers in shadow.
Only 2 washing machines on the camping which was not enough in May. I think new facilities were in the make.
The grey water, chemical toilet facilities are at the entrance via a gate with code, not very handy as the turn to the facility takes time and vans can block the entrance.
Easy to arrange a rental car for a day (€65,-) to visit the beautiful Mani villages.
Staff is very competent and friendly.
It was a pleasure to stay on this camping for a couple of days.

We only intended to stay a couple of days and ended up staying 8!
The pool area is superb, very comfortable and well maintained. The beach is very clean, but does have a small drop off.
The on site restaurant is pretty good and reasonable value. The is a Taverna about 100m away along the beach which is excellent.
Staff are very friendly and are always working hard to keep the site and facilities spotless.
We'll definitely return!

Checked in with our VW campervan for an initial 3 night stay and ended up staying for 6 nights! Everything about this site is excellent from Check in (and reception as a whole) to modern and spotlessly clean shower/toilets to great plots and a fabulous pool/sunlounger area. And if that isn't enough, the restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. 5* camping and would highly recommend.
