Somogy County is located in the Hungarian region of Southern Transdanubia, a sparsely populated area with rolling landscapes. This is the location of Het Koetshuis campsite. A camping holiday here guarantees peace, space, freedom and a friendly atmosphere. In the surroundings there are plenty of walking- and cycling possibilities.

Hungarian countryside
At the entrance of this quiet terraced campsite is the homely main building with the terrace, attractively laid out with a garden and a pond. If you drive further back, the green camping grounds begin with special paved areas for motorhomes.
Camping with a view
Camping Het Koetshuis (Kemping Hintóház in Hungarian) is a Valhalla for those who seek rest and love nature. All large pitches are distributed on grassy terraces. The fact that the pitches are not marked out enhances the feeling of freedom. The view of the sloping surroundings is a real gift. On clear nights, enjoy the beautiful starry sky.
Hungarian snack
In the cosy bar you can not only drink a good beer, but also enjoy a Hungarian meal three times a week. When the weather is nice, the terrace with comfortable seats is a nice place to enjoy. When it gets dark, the atmospheric lighting is switched on. To the left of the exit, at the village shop, you can buy bread in the morning.
Culture and relaxation
Although the campsite is in a very rural and quiet location, there is plenty to do when you get in the car. For example, a visit to the university town of Kaposvar is a nice outing. This charming town, situated on the Kapos river, has many cultural attractions.
