"Large and busy campsite during the high season, part of Corkagh Park. The park also includes a multifunctional sports field, possibilities for fishing and a children's farm. Large pitches surrounded by bushes. Bus to Dublin stops just outside the campsite. Traffic on the motorway is noticeable."

The campsite is well laid out with pitches being separated by hedges. Each area has electicity and water in the section we stayed in. The toilets and showers were fine, but you had to pay for the showers - I think this was 1 Euro or it could have been that you had to buy a token for that price. There is a bus stop outside the campsite which goes into Dublin. On the campsite information sheet, it says the bus leaves at 10:30am and takes 40 minutes. It actually leaves the bus depot at 10:30am and arrives at the campsite bus stop at 10:52, but it gets busy, so do arrive early to join the queue. The bus was already pretty full and we had to stand most of the way. The journey took just over an hour. We didn't do any of the activities as we were only there one full day and spent it in Dublin. I think they take place in the Corkagh park.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed in a caravan, with electric and water hook up for a few weeks Oct/Nov 2023.

The whole campsite was kept mowed and litter free every day.

Large bins are provided throughout the park for the disposal of household waste.

Toilets and showers were spotless and the staff were lovely to deal with and were on call if needed, they went above and beyond for us when we needed their help and couldn\'t do enough for us.

It was lovely and quiet. The security of the park is excellent with plenty of cameras and a main security gate that is only accessible with a code.

The site is well serviced by restaurant delivery drivers and there\'s a large selection of options.

Staying in this park was great value for the service you receive, we couldn\'t praise them highly enough

This was the closest site to Dublin City we could find and we were charged well for the proximity.
The site is located next to parkland but just off the N9 which is very busy so expect some background traffic noise. The further away from the front gate you get the quieter it is.
This is a transit site for those visiting Irelands fair city so the daily turnover is high with a lot of continental travellers staying for a night or two.
Reception is quite large and the staff will give you all the information you need about transport plus maps. The Number 69 bus picks up at the site gates and will deliver you into the middle of Dublin. The journey takes up to an hour and the bus can get quite full.
The sanitary facilities have seen better days and are only superficially cleaned with a power hose. I suspect it could have been several weeks since any surfaces were cleaned with a cloth. It’s not the sort of place you want to drop your towel on the floor. The decor is dated and they are badly in need of an upgrade.
The hard standing pitches are separated by hedges and almost all have a grey water outlet, water tap and power. There’s wifi a reception but not across the park.
There’s a Tesco and Aldi nearby and takeaways’ and pubs within a 5 min drive.
If you need to be near Dublin this is a good location but the facilities need upgrading and in my view it’s a ripoff. If visiting Dublin again I will select a site further away and use the train.

Top marks to the the reception team -- they have everything you need to get the most out of your stay, including details of local restaurants and the times of buses from the camp gate into Dublin. The central sanitary block is well designed but seemed to be suffering from neglect while I was there, with a few non-flushing toilets and leaking taps. Noise from the main N7 road goes on all night, but isn\'t loud enough to be an obstacle to sleep. Definitely the best option for visiting Dublin.
