On the west coast of Italy, some sixty kilometres south of Pompeii, lies Camping Village Paestum. Only a pinewood separates campsite guests from the beach and the Mediterranean Sea. With its spacious swimming pool (complete with new paddling pool with slides), some 300 touring pitches and various rental accommodation, this is a large family campsite.

Plenty of choice
Spread out over the spacious campsite, neatly arranged in rows and easily accessible, there are almost three hundred pitches. They are separated by thin hedges and have a hard surface with grass or sand. Shadow is abundant on a large part of the campsite. On the side of the campsite are all the rental accommodations, just over seventy in total.
On the Mediterranean Sea
In the summer months, a shuttle bus takes you to the beach, which is only five hundred metres from the campsite. So it's also good to walk, with a bicycle and footpath along the busier road. The last part of the route goes through the forest. Once you've passed the trees, you stand with your feet on the sandy beach at the Mediterranean Sea.
Swimming pool with dolphins
You'd rather stay at the campsite, but do you fancy a swim? Then, under the watchful eye of the ceramic dolphins at the bottom, you can swim in the large swimming pool. The youngest visitors will be a lot in the large paddling pool. This sloping pool has no less than four slides. This makes the paddling pool not only suitable for small campers who want to paddle, but also for the adventurous swimmers.
