In the south of Italy, right by the sea, is the Camping Lido di Salerno campsite. From the campsite, you can walk right onto the sandy beach. The front pitches have panoramic views of the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. It is the ideal base for visiting Salerno, Naples, Paestum, Pompeii and Vesuvius. Lido di Salerno is a simple campsite with its own beach, a pizzeria and a pleasant terrace.

A simple campsite
The simple, open campground has 75 small touring sites and fifteen RV sites. The palm trees, olive trees and flowering shrubs provide little shade, but shade screens are stretched above the pitches. There is little demarcation between the pitches. The most beautiful pitches are located directly on the beach and have a beautiful view of the sea. The campsite visibly still needs a lot of maintenance, but the owner is working hard to make it into something beautiful.
Own beach
The Lido di Salerno campsite is located directly on the sea and has a private beach. From the campground, all you have to do is go down a flight of stairs, and you'll find yourself on the beautiful sandy beach. From the beach, you can look out over the Amalfi Coast. In the Gulf of Salerno, the water is a brilliant blue. You can enjoy swimming, but you can also surf and sail here.
Summer entertainment
In July and August, the campsite organises an entertainment programme for children as well as teenagers and adults. Other than that, there is little to do on the site: you'll only find a recreation room and a table tennis table. There is also little entertainment to be found in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.
