Piomboni Camping Village is a large family campsite on the Italian east coast, ten kilometres from the centre of Ravenna. The four hundred pitches are situated in a wooded area shaded by tall pine trees. The Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful sandy beach are less than a hundred metres away.

Shady pitches
The entrance to the campsite may seem a bit messy, but the rest of the campsite is spacious and well-organised. On the well-maintained grounds there are four hundred touring pitches, varying in size. You can choose a standard pitch, but also an extra large pitch. In any case, you have a shady spot at your disposal; the high trees on the densely wooded terrain will take care of that. In addition to the four hundred touring pitches, the campsite has reserved space for fifty permanent annual pitches. And on a separate part of the campsite there are about fifty mobile homes.
The campsite is also very dog-friendly. There are dog playgrounds, a washing facility for dogs and a separate free beach where they can run around and swim.
Swimming pool for the youngest guests
Especially the swimming pool is nice for the youngest camping guests. The spacious paddling pool is located near the entrance to the campsite, in the shade of the trees. With a toadstool shower, water pistol and slide the older children can also have fun in the water. Around the swimming pool there are plenty of sun loungers for parents to keep an eye on. And in the whirlpool you can relax.
Pizza and fish dishes
If you are hungry, take a seat on the terrace or in the atmospheric restaurant. With a large pizza or a plate full of seafood or fish, your hunger will be instantly satisfied. If you like to cook for yourself, you don't have to leave the campsite. The supermarket on the campsite is well equipped.
