This small campsite in the north of Italy offers all you need during your camping holiday: natural surroundings, relaxation, and activities for the whole family. You can camp in amongst the trees here, or with a panoramic view of Lake Maggiore. You can paddle around in this lake, or sunbathe on one of the free sun loungers. Finish the day with a freshly-baked pizza in a restaurant that the locals flock to as well.

Tidy camping pitches with a panoramic view

Once you arrive at the campsite, you'll be warmly welcomed by the campsite owners. They'll help you find the perfect pitch. You'll quickly see that the camping grounds are very well maintained: the washing block is clean, and the paths and the beach are swept every day. The camping grounds are divided up into cosy sheltered pitches, with plenty of shade. Some of the pitches offer a view over the beautiful Lake Maggiore and the mountainous surroundings.

Something for everyone to do

Thanks to the many activities organised by the baby club, Solcio Campsite is a very family-friendly campsite. But it's not just families that stay here: couples, both young and old, as well as groups of friends. A lively mix of guests.

Get to know the surroundings

There are plenty of opportunities to get to know the surroundings. You can visit the town of Stesa by bike, and visit the romantic islands with ancient palaces. You can also go for a cruise on the huge lake. Tip: take the panorama train on the way back to see a totally different side to the lake.

What a wonderful site, directly on the water’s edge of Lake Maggiore, we paid not that much more for a waterfront pitch which had fantastic views across the lake.
Even the pitches behind though we’re good and still had good grass despite this being the end of the season.
Family owned and run, with well maintained sanitary facilities and a laundry, plenty of hot water.
there was also a small shop on site selling basics and wine. also an extremely good restaurant, which is used by local residents as well as tourists staying on the site.
lovely beach directly in front of the lake-front pitches so all campers can make use of the lake.
What a delightful site. The site staff were also able to recommend a local vet for our dog to get the necessary pet travel documentation completed.

We had 5 nights here at the end of September at the beautiful Lago Maggiore. Friendly service people. The campsite has its own beach and the place is really good for water sports and swimming or just enjoying the sun on the campsite's beach dream beds

A superbly maintained site with good sized pitches, and nice shade from the established trees. Facilities were all wonderfully clean. Staff very friendly and helpful even after we had a mix up forgetting to show our acsi card on arrival. Lake front pitches well worth the extra cost for superbviews. Plenty of local restaurants, shops and things to see and do too. Brilliant all round.

lovely lakeside view from where we were. well maintained area. Lake glimpses from many pitches.. good \\\'beach\\\' chairs and umbrellas that are free. good sanitary facilities but only 1 hot water tap for dishwasher..the only negative I can find here!!
