The IJsselstrand campsite sits on the banks of the Oude IJssel river, near Doesburg in Gelderland. This large family campsite consists mainly of permanent annual pitches and mobile homes, but there are also quite a few touring pitches available. The spacious pitches are laid out on the grass.

Camping on the dike

There are no less than 670 permanent annual pitches at the IJsselstrand campsite. There are also 383 rental properties. The majority of the campsite consists of mobile homes. However, there are 164 touring pitches, so you can enjoy camping here with your tent, caravan or camper. The touring pitches are located on separate camping fields. They are spacious pitches on the grass, mostly without shade.

Swimming and sunbathing

The campsite has a large swimming pool. This is a real swimming paradise with its large waterslides, spacious paddling pool, and nice bubble bath. You can sunbathe on the terrace or the lawn around it. You can also swim and play in the river. There's also a beautiful sandy beach along the shore.

Pleasant terrace

Next to the reception is the restaurant with a pleasant terrace. It overlooks the playground with various types of playground equipment. On the other side of the reception is a well-stocked supermarket.

Play paradise

There are extensive facilities at the campsite, especially for the children. In addition to the water park, there is an outdoor playground as well as a large indoor playground. In Speelparadijs Clapoe, older children and the little ones can have fun on a toboggan run, a climbing wall, a bouncy castle, and a haunted house.

afzetterij!!!
wij boekten deze camping voor vier nachten via het internet. Behoorlijk aan de prijs, caravan met stroom. Bij aankomst werd ons de weg gewezen via de plattegrond, maar het verder moesten we er zelf naar toe. Normaal geen probleem, maar het bleek een wirwar van slagbomen met twee velden en een dijk met weg, en onze plek had geen nummer. De plattegrond bleek niet te kloppen, waar wij zouden moeten staan stonden trailers van bomen en er was geen stroomvoorziening leek het. Na telefonisch contact met de receptie zou er iemand komen, die kwam niet, weer telefonisch contact, eindelijk kwam er iemand. We moesten Idd op de plek van de trailers en ja er was wel stroom… er lag een haspel in het gras…. het waren heus officiële plekken. De volgende dag hoorden wij op de receptie dat deze plek alleen voor nood wordt gebruikt als er iets mis is gegaan. Niet erg, maar laat ons dan niet dit bedrag betalen! Toen wij met twee kinderen en alle douchespullen klaar waren om te douchen in het gebouw, bleek je ook nog eens muntjes nodig te hebben om te douchen! Receptie inmiddels gesloten, dus geen muntjes, iedereen weer aankleden en terug naar de caravan. De sfeer werd er niet beter op! Capfun… meer Captreurnis! Geef op zijn minst aan bij de ontvangst dat je nog douchemuntjes moet gaan halen. Op het veld is geen waterpunt of toiletgebouw, je moet de dijk en het (openbare) fietspad over naar de andere kant van de camping. Ook voor het chemisch toilet onhandig ver. Kortom, een enorme teleurstelling deze camping, voor veeeeeeeel te veel geld.

hadden on line gereserveerd. en het volledig bedrag moeten betalen. Kort voor ons vertrek vernamen wij via ACSI nieuwsbrief dat er acsi tarief was tijdens onze verblijfsperiode (van 27/8 tot 3/9) .Dat kon niet verrekend worden. Op de website was dit ook niet vermeldt bij onze reservatie. Dergelijke praktijken vind ik niet eerlijk

Wij stonden buiten de camping op een ander veld, ivm Corona was het sanitair gebouw niet open. De camping zelf was overvol, van afstand houden was geen sprake
