Oppland is one of the most beautiful provinces of Norway, where the village of Vågå is located between three national parks. Some 30 km south of Vågå, Randsverk Camping is situated directly on the National-Touristic route 51, so that the campsite forms an ideal base for a hike through the magnificent nature.

In addition to its strategic location between the national parks Jotunheimen, Dovrefjell en Rondane, Vågå (also referred to as Vågåmo) is especially known for its beautiful church (partly 12th century).
Into the wild
In the midst of the panoramic scenery of Oppland, Randsverk Camping is situated on the intersection between Road 51 and Road 257. You will find the reception directly at the entrance in an imposing log cabin. The adjacent cafetaria, with comprehensive menu, is a great place to spend time.
The campsite has a somewhat terraced lay-out and offers flat, free and spacious pitches with beautiful views. The grounds are exceptionally well kept, as is the centrally located service building with modern sanitary facilities. At the entrance you will find a well-stocked supermarket for the daily necessities.
Heading out
With so much beauty surrounding it, it goes without saying that (international) guests use the campsite to prepare for their trips in the Norwegian mountain world or to recover after a hike.
Is your interest more in the cultural sphere? Then you can make a day trip from Randverks Camping to Vågå, where the old church is worth a visit. The oldest parts of the church are from a 12th century stave church, but the larger part goes back to the 17th century. The interior, in particular, is really magnificent.
