Halfway between Barcelona and Valencia, on the east coast of Spain, lies campsite L'Orangeraie. This small three-star campsite lives up to its name: the campsite looks like a botanical garden, full of lovely flowering shrubs and trees. The campsite is laid out on a sloping terrain with beautifully designed terraces. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved rest. L’Orangeraie is located some ten kilometres from the coast, but from your pitch, you can see the Mediterranean Sea glistening in the distance.

Like a botanical garden
The pitches are spread out across the park-like camping grounds on beautifully laid-out plateaus, surrounded by citrus trees, palms, cypresses and olive trees. With only 62 pitches, this is a small-scale campsite, resembling a botanical garden. The pitches are clearly demarcated and the numerous trees and bushes provide a fair amount of privacy. The pitches vary considerably in size. If you have a large caravan or motorhome, ask for one of the larger pitches when you make your booking.
Soothing peace and quiet
On the campsite you do not notice anything of the hustle and bustle of the coast. For many campers, this is a great relief when compared to the busy, overcrowded campsites on the coast. In fact, it may be a bit too tranquil for some. Except for the swimming pool, there are few activities on the campsite and there is no entertainment programme.
Blue lagoon
Campsite L’Orangeraie boasts a superb blue outdoor swimming pool, with a lagoon-shaped design and surrounded by large palm trees. There is a separate toddler pool. The swimming pool is surrounded by a tiled sun deck with loungers and thatch sun umbrellas. The swimming pool is located adjacent to the restaurant, offering a view of the azure water from the pleasant terrace.
