Donaupark Camping Tulln is located on the Austrian Danube and borders a large recreational lake. The forests of the Wienerwald adorn the rolling landscape. The campsite is located just outside the centre of the flower town of Tulln and forms an ideal base for an excursion to the capital, Vienna. The campsite has a fine restaurant named Taverne2. Here you can enjoy seasonal and organic dishes from the Tullnerfeld region. Live music is performed on a regular basis.
Caravans and motorhomes are located on spacious pitches on a circular lawn with room for fifteen campers. There is a water point in the centre. Luxury pitches with their own water connection and drainage are also available. Each camping pitch has a free cable connection. The tents are located on separate fields. If you do not have your own camping equipment, you can hire a modern mobile home with air conditioning.
Water fun in the lake
Water skiing, swimming or boating: it is all possible in the recreational lake Aubad, adjacent to the campsite. Entry is free, you can obtain tickets from the reception. There are beach volleyball fields for the sports enthusiasts, but make sure to head for the sandy beach and the sunbathing lawns as well. There are a few slides and play equipment for children.
On the road with Franz
Twice a week, Franz, the campsite manager, organises a cycling tour in the area. In addition, the Wachau cultural landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is located in the vicinity of the campsite. In the area you can admire castles, ruins and monasteries, to name but a few. The vineyards of Wagram are worth a visit if you appreciate a 'vino blanco'. The entertainment programme of the campsite is varied and changes from week to week.
