Friendly owner. Warned us that electricity might go off during the evening due to numbers expected in that night so would reduce the tariff- but he charged us the ACSI card price anyway. Electricity did go off from time to time.
Main concern was the overcrowding - outfits fitted in on the site road and people walking between packed in caravans. Owner used his motor scooter to return to the office running over our cable on several occasions.as he was cutting between caravans .
Wouldn\'t go back again. It\'s a sloping field. Staff charged us for electricity even though you should get that free. Most other campers did not use electricity. Toilets had a patio heater to keep the cold away. Pool closed as doesn\'t open until June. Free wi-fi is the only good part. Not for me.
Upon arrival we received a warm welcome. The staff went out of their way to assist us with getting settled in and locating all required facilities. We also required the use of a printer and scanner which was not an issue with the staff going out of their way once again assist us.
Plenty of information was provided for the surrounding area and onward journey.
The campsite was very clean with good facilities and the setting very relaxing.
The bar facilities looked very good and cosy with a good outdoor flow to the pool area. We didn't have time to sample the food unfortunately.
This is a nice site about a mile or so from Arlon. We were met by the owner who is a very friendly and helpful man. He placed us on a hardstanding pitch beside toilet and sanitary facilities. The pitch even had also had satellite tv connection. The showers, toilets and washing up areas were good with a dvd playing on a flat screen tv on the wall. Pity it was the same dvd over and over again. Robbie Williams' arrogance can get to you after a while! Looking around the site I could see that it had a good sized pool and bar. The grass pitches are on a slope, so chocs are required. It is surrounded by fields of grazing horses. Arlon is a bit dull, but has shops, bars and restaurants and the girl in the tourist information office was excellent. I would return as a stop over.
Stopped over on way home from Germany for one night and so pleased we stayed two. Very pleasant staff and good facilities, even a free communal satellite dish to plug into if required. Good clean showers with large screen tv and decorated with USA/Elvis photos. Pitches aren't very level but leveling blocks are available, at no extra cost, on the pitches. The pool and restaurant looked great but didn't use either. Just over a mile from Arlon, to the nearest shops, via a very busy road so not a pleasant walk or cycle ride. Easy reach of ferry ports. Will stay here again for sure.
We used this as an overnight stop. We were pitched in the central area. It was quite crowded but adequate for an overnight.
We arrived at the empty site early afternoon and pitched our awning alongside the van (No groundsheets allowed). By early evening it was full of Dutch caravaners on their way home from the south of France. The vast majority stayed the one night and didn’t bother unhitching. The owner is a cheery man who zips around on his moped allocating people to their spots. The facilities clean and well cared for. The swimming pool was chilly even for mid-summer. The free WiFi is a big bonus.
A pleasant 'over night stop' on our way to Southern Germany. Most pitches slope but this is not major problem. Close to the Luxembourg border and lower cost fuel! Only one complaint, the electricity connections lack an earth. We used the site on our way out and on our return. Manageable drive to/from Dunkerque with caravan.
