BestCamp Parc La Clusure campsite is located in the Belgian Ardennes. You can camp here on a spacious pitch, or in rental accommodation. Due to its location on a river, there's always the opportunity to cool down on a hot summer's day. As well as plenty of outdoor activities in the beautiful location, there's lots to do at the campsite itself, for children as well as adults.
A steep narrow road brings you to the campsite entrance; for some campers who are towing a caravan, this can be a challenge. Flags from different European countries fly at the reception, welcoming all holidaymakers. The well-kept greenery, flowers, and the natural surroundings characterise this campsite.
Building dams and rafts
The many rivers and extensive forests in the area ensure you keep cool during the warm summers. A calm river in the Ardennes is also an ideal playground (for older children). It's a great place to get together with new friends and build dams and rafts. Or, take part in the campsite-organised activity "Having fun in the river" - a guaranteed afternoon of fun in the water with just inflatable armbands or a pool float. Bring aqua shoes with you, as there are sometimes slippery stones on the riverbed.
One thing you should definitely do if you're staying at the BestCamp Parc La Clusure campsite, is to visit the Grotten van Han (Han Caves) in Han-sur-Lesse. This world-famous landmark is less than 10km from the campsite.

We stayed at this campsite for one night on our way back to Calais in March 2018. The staff were very friendly. It is partly open during the winter, showers pitches etc but there is no restaurant nor children clubs, they all open at the end of March. The toilets were really modern and spotlessly clean. The campsite was very well organised and we could imagine it being a lovely site during the summer months. We would definitely recommend stopping here for a holiday or as a stopover.
We spent a week during may and i have to say we were impressed. This site is up to the CC standard. The onsite facilities are good and were kept very clean. The onsite shop was convenient and well stocked. The pool was a little small , but the park does look after the kids. We had a great time with the animation team. They even translate as there was so many nationalities. The food in the restaurant was really good. Overall I would recommend it
This camping site is difficult to criticise, everything about it is first class. Clean modern sanitary facilities, helpful staff, level good sized pitches and free WiFi a bonus.
First class site with excellent facilities. Stayed in June 2015 before high season and enjoyed a really restful visit. Staff very helpful and polite. Would definitely use again if in the area. Approx 4/5 hours to Calais.
We spent two lovely days in this wonderful area. 4 hours from Calais and great last stop before returning home. Very large site although while we we there most additional facilities were closed. Wonderful walks nearby really pretty area. Small well stocked shop and really helpful staff. Immaculate toilet facilities, highly recommended.
Very nice site, but not do follow directions in book, come off in the direction of Rochefort, junction 23. Excellent caves at Rochefort, but you have to be fit. Not much happening on site at this time for year, but in season, it would be a great site for families.
What a lovelly campsite, facilities are superb, campsite staff friendly and the surrounding area is great
