Excellent site for sightseeing Bruges. Public Transport into the centre of Bruges, a five minute walk away. Shower and Toilet facilities were excellent and very clean. Only criticism would be that the pitches were relatively small and your neighbours could be very close. Wouldn\'t put us off staying here though and highly recommended.
Great location for central Bruges. Overall the campsite is perfectly functional, however pitches are very close together and can be in full sun for much of the day which at present is stifling. The toilet block is basic and only cleaned once a day meaning soap and toilet paper can run out quickly. It was a good site for basing ourselves near Bruges for a day trip but this isn't the kind of site you'd want to just sit in your tent in for the day.
A busy campsite, small cramped grass pitches with no privacy. It’s more in the style of a camping aire than a regular campsite. An automatic check-in procedure is operated once you’ve reserved and paid online, but it didn’t work. Luckily someone was on hand to resolve the technical hitch so we could get in.
The sanitary/washing facilities are very good. Free Wifi available at the pitch but very slow, unusable at times. Electricity supply is only 6 amps, so careful with that kettle or hairdryer!
Urban location is very good for access to Bruges which I guess is why most people stay. You can catch a bus, but we chose to walk, it takes about 30 minutes on a level pavement. The area is very cycle friendly. Plenty of facilities nearby e.g supermarket and restaurants.
Convenient stopover for Bruges but I wouldn’t want to stay here for more than a couple of nights.
A haven after the long trip from the north of england. On Bruges doorstep! Showers were great & warm. 1 washing machine with queues but ok because was quiet. Thank you. Jenny
We stayed here three nights and found the easy access to the bus routes made this campsite an ideal base. This is a very busy campsite with regimented pitches but this isn't a problem. Lots of hot water and the toilet facilities were very good. The local buses take you to the city centre and the train station. We took the train to Antwerp one day and thoroughly recommend this. The campsite is more expensive than we would normally pay but felt it provided value for money.
The priciest camp during my 9 weeks on the continent this year. Booked ahead to have a last site before the ferry the next day. Would also be a good starting site not far from the Zeebrugge port and close to the city centre. Free wifi accessibility depending on your pitch but good at reception. Friendly staff and facilities are clean and well maintained.
This was our last campsite before going to the ferry . There is a self check in if youve booked ahead, which we had. But the staff are very quick at booking in anyway. Pitches are a good size and there are lots of taps. Tollet facilities excellent. Close to town so walking in is 20-30 minutes. Recommended if this is your first trip to the continent.
Arrived at the site without booking and although almost full the staff made every effort to make us welcome and find us a space for 2 nights.
The toilet and shower facilities are impeccable with free toilet paper and hot water in the centrally located toilets and shower block. Free Wi-Fi is available all across the site by collecting a 1 hour token from the self service machine at reception and no limits on how many 1 hour tokens. Best reception for Wi-Fi is but the toilet block.
There is a full Motorhome service point which has everything to hand and kept very clean.
A 20 minute walk into Bruges city centre is worth the time to see the various shops and gardens along the way rather than using the bus but my recommendation for all is to take your bicycle and enjoy the cycle way system that provides safe and priority routes all through the city.
The site is situated at the edge of a woodland and away from busy roads and yet it is surprising close to civilisation and looms up suddenly as you drive through a quiet housing estate.
Almost next door, or at least within 500 metres away is the local public swimming pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to visit but we will definitely be returning to the site so perhaps next time !
Originally intended to stay for two nights but extended to three. The location of the campsite is convenient for the bus into the city and there are several supermarkets and a very good restaurant within walking distance. There is an automated check-in facility if the reception is closed. Pitches are of medium size with plastic grids on grass for motorhomes. The only downside was that, out of season, we only found two drinking water taps available, one of which was above the chemical toilet emptying facility in the sanitation block.
This is a busy site on the outskirts of Bruges, with very good sanitary facilities. There is a convenient bus stop a short walk from the entrance. Wifi is included.
