We stayed at this site at the beginning of June as we wanted a base close to Prague. The site is lovely and clean (spotless really) and also friendly. The only downside for us was the fact that there is quite a busy road on the opposite side of the river, and the noise was rather intrusive for us. However, you must remember this is very near to a capital city.
Very quiet place, close to railway station. The restaurant serves good food that can be bought morning bread from the local baker in the square. Very friendly staff, we warmly recommend this place. English is spoken
Super site run by Eva and her family who were perfect hosts. A 10 minute walk to the local station for a 30 minute ride into Prague, or an 18km bike ride along the river, mostly on cycle path.
The site had everything you could want, a bit quiet when we were there in early April, but would imagine there’s a great family atmosphere in the summer.
One of the best camp sites that I have ever stayed at, the friendly family owners have thought of everything for you to enjoy your stay.
What a fantastic campsite! From the really friendly greeting on arrival to the superb food at very reasonable prices, this is the campsite to be on. The facilities include toilet and shower blocks cleaned to such a high standard, a kitchenette with washing machine, fridge, microwave, electric hobs and a kettle. The restaurant is super. The pitches are beautifully maintained. The campsite is calm and relaxing. There is a lovely river that runs along the site where you can cycle or walk with your dog. A train station 10 minutes away takes you into Prague. We came here intending to stay for a night and stayed for 5, we wanted to stay longer but alas we had to leave to continue our journey. This has to be one of the nicest sites that we have stayed on, but don't take my word for it, come and see for yourself.
Great campsite in a good area run by fantastic staff. Really loved our time here and it is well placed for visits to Prague. The site even refunds your train ticket!
We were made very welcome when we arrived and given all information required for our stay. We were loaned the cash to get a train into Prague as we had no Kc.when we arrived. The facilities were spotless and every possible occasion had bee catered for. After our visit to Prague Eva enquired as to whether her instructions / information had been enough for us to have enjoyed our day. Staff seem to go out of their way to help clients whatever the problem. We like that the site is not covered in notices giving instructions on what to do and not to do. The only real rule is quiet after 10pm and that was certainly observed by all.
Very homely campsite run by a family as if they'd like to camp here by themselves. The owners and their family are very friendly and go out of their way to assist.
Nice touches include a spice garden for fresh herbs for your cooking and toiletries such as ear buds and shaving cream provided free of charge in the bathroom.
A wonderful campsite with a homely feel to it. The site is run by a local family who make you feel welcome and to whom nothing is an effort? The facilities are impeccably clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend this site to anyone.
One of the best sites we have been on. Lovely location next to the river (some noise from the main road opposite and railway behind, but seeing the trains passing was a novelty). 1km walk on a level road to the station. Excellent price, good food in the restaurant at amazing prices, fresh bread in the morning, extremely helpful and friendly staff who speak good English. Plenty of info available re places to visit, train times etc. The toilets and showers were immaculate with the nice touch of toiletries, tissues, etc available. The only improvement I can think of would be in the privacy of the showers, because once you step out of the cubicle there is no segregation between the drying/changing areas, and only a thin curtain screening you from outside view if someone opens the building door. But overall, excellent.
