If you fancy a holiday in the middle of the dunes of North Jutland, Camping Skiveren is the place for you! The expansive campsite is located in a beautiful nature reserve overlooking the North Sea. It has everything holidaymakers need to relax and unwind while their kids can play to their heart's content. It'll be hard to choose between splashing in the campsite pool or playing on the beach, less than 250 metres away. You don't have to go far to reach the nearest town either. Skiveren is just two minutes away by car.

Camping or renting

You'll be camping on a beautiful and well-maintained lawns and can choose from spacious camping pitches in the shade or in the sun. Sizes vary from 60 to 140 m². Do you not have your own tent, caravan or motorhome, but would still like to spend your holiday in this special place? Then you can do so in one of the rental accommodations. Camping Skiveren rents out hikers' cabins, mobile homes and bungalows.

Stroll to the beautiful beach

After a nice breakfast, perhaps including a smørrebrød (traditional Danish open-faced sandwich), you can walk straight to the heated swimming pool. There is a separate, shallow part of the pool where small children can stand and play undisturbed. In the high season you'll find many families with children here.

Relax in the wellness centre

For even more relaxation, you can take advantage of the campsite's attractive wellness centre. A spa, sauna and steam bath are all at your disposal there.

Der Campingplatz ist sehr großzügig angelegt. Auch wenn er voll belegt ist, kommt es einem nicht eng vor. Die Aufteilung in kleinere Bereiche und die toll duftenden Dünenrosenhecken ist sehr geschickt und trotzdem natürlich. Er liegt 100 Meter vom Meer entfernt, getrennt davon durch einen Sandstrand und durch eine zugegebenermaßen steile Düne. In beide Richtungen kann man kilometerweit wandern. Parallel dazu erstreckt sich in südliche Richtung eine Waldlandschaft, in nördliche Richtung eine Dünenlandschaft. Beide laden ebenso zu Wanderungen ein. Seltene Tierarten sind überall beobachtbar. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man eben mal über Feldwege und kleine Straßen die 15 km zur Ostsee fahren, zwischendurch in Hofläden einkaufen, oder mit dem Auto die Städte in Nordjütland erkunden. Der Supermarkt auf dem Platz bietet eine erstaunlich große Auswahl an Lebensmitteln und Campingartikeln, dazu täglich frisches Brot oder Brötchen. Zweimal in der Woche kommt der Fischwagen mit frischem und geräuchertem Fisch. Im Restaurant kann man im Sommer abends oft Live-Musik zuhören. Die Preise sind für dänische Verhältnisse sehr moderat. Senioren bekommen auf den Aufenthalt in der Vor- und Nachsaison hohen Rabatt, der die oft weite Anfahrt bei weitem aufwiegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, man merkt, dass es ein familiengeführter Platz ist. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber, teilweise modern, und wer nicht das Meer zum Schwimmen bevorzugt, kann täglich kostenlos den Pool benutzen.

Sehr schön angelegter Platz, die Stellplätze sind zum Teil sehr offen oder auch eingekuschelt zwischen unterschiedlich hohen Hecken und Büschen. Der Platz bietet perfekte Infrastruktur mit Restaurant, Supermarkt, Fitnessstudio,Minigolf, Spielplatz und Pool, drumherum gibt es nur Natur, Dünen, Meer und Wald! Sanitär sauber und sehr gepflegt. Und sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal.

4 Tage Ende August 2021 .Platz sehr gross , Stellplätze grosszügig , sehr ordentlich für Nachsaison gut besucht. endsorgung gut, mit Waschplatz fürs Womo. Autostrand ok ,Schöner WanderwegWald und Dünen. Alles gut gefallen.

Wunderschön in den Dünen gelegen, die Stellplätze sind teilweise offen, teilweise auch in Hecken und Nischen eingekuschelt. Auch die Sanitäranlagen sind tadellos, sauber und gepflegt. Der platzeigene Supermarkt ist gut sortiert. Wir haben die Sport und Wellnessanlagen nicht genutzt und können daher auch keine Wertung abgeben. Und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Weil er super schön ist, direkt am Strand liegt, wir werden freundlich empfangen, ruhige Lage, Hunde freundlich, wer einmal hinfährt kommt immer wieder, saubere sanitär Anlagen, schöner Pool, sauberer Campingplatz, Traumlage, super Angelegt und Angebote und tolle Parzellen.
