Conveniently located near one of the nicest villages in Alsace. Was a bit noisy after the wine fest finished as the party continued after hours (but we were warned, so acceptable). We'll come again.
Excellent campsite (if a little unkempt for grass and hedges) in the vineyards within 15 minutes walk to the beautiful village of Eguisheim. Toilet facilities are first class with plenty of hot water.
This is a busy site - we arrived by 4pm and the only pitch left was without electricity. But many people moved on the next morning and we were able to choose an excellent pitch with electricity.
Campsite easily located but essential to follow instructions rather than satnav. Entry requires on-street parking in a limited space while there exists sufficient space on the far side of the barrier for at least 6 rigs that cannot be accessed until booked in. A positive response to an e-mail request 24 hours previously for availability does not constitute a reservation. Reception was efficient and informative i.e. we were efficiently informed that we should park in the on-street area, that we did not have a reservation and the barrier could not be lifted to allow parking in the area mentioned. Sanitation was clean and always available. Contrary to the site's own deprecatory comments on its wi-fi, we found the wi-fi here (pitch 26) to be the best we have ever experienced with flawless connection every time. The surrounding area provided some excellent cycling and walking while the tourist hot-spot of Colmar was easily reached.
A site we felt very comfortable in with a pleasant walk into the lovely town.
The motorhome service point has a smelly chemical waste disposal point but don't let that put you off as the toilet block has a nice fresh one. Some good cycling routes into the hills.
Friendly welcome , good pitch size, clean toilets and showers, good wifi available free around play park area. Short walk into village with all amenities, very pretty area. Loved the reception staff, the young girl deserves particular commendation on her helpfulness
Stayed one night travelling north. Next time will stay 2 or 3 nights to explore the town within easy walking distance and maybe Colmar by bus. A busy site with good size pitches. Toilet and showers clean and functional if a bit dated. Little difference between CC and rack rates.
This is a lovely site in walking distance of Eguishiem and the wine trial of the local vineyards. The staff were very helpful and the facilities were spotless. We would love to return one day!
Forgot to mention the "local residents," the storks, we never been so close to them. One even landed on the site looking for nesting material.
A very nice clean site with good sized pitches. Only a few minutes walk from the village with its excellent bars and restaurants. Other good walks in the area.
Couple in motorhome, first time on site. Excellent location next to beautiful village and overlooking vineyards, mountains and castles. Recommend pay extra for larger pitch. Wine tasting Wednesday evenings on site. Colmar is well worth visiting but realistically there is only one bus per day at 12.45pm returning latest at 18.25. Bus journey through surrounding villages is superb and costs 4€ return, and takes 45 minutes. Cycling into Colmar is possible, takes 30-40 minutes. Free wifi is poor, only available around office and sanitaires, signal is weak, very frustrating. Site is very, very popular, full both nights we were here, many campers turned away. Would return.
