In the popular French holiday region of Dordogne, Camping du Lac de Groléjac is set amidst greenery beside a lake. This fairly small-scale and family campsite with its hundred or so pitches really does exude tranquillity. You can enjoy the lake and the beautiful surroundings with old villages, castles, gardens and lovely markets.

Swimming, fishing and sailing

During your holiday on Camping de Lac de Groléjac you will have plenty of fun in the water. You'll enjoy a beautifully landscaped outdoor swimming pool (heated) and a toddlers' pool. Just outside the campsite is a large lake where you can enjoy swimming, fishing and sailing. The campsite's sandy beach is right next to the lake. Bring an umbrella, an inflatable boat and a book and you will be entertained for hours. Fishing enthusiasts will find a quieter corner of the lake to their hearts' content.

Fun and entertainment in high season

In high season, you will find many families with children here. During this period, fun activities are organised for all ages. Such as a mini club, sports tournaments, theme nights and concerts. The children will also have a great time in the playground, on the trampolines or at the table tennis table. A traditional game of jeu de boules is also possible. In the low season, you will find mainly older visitors and families with young children here.

Restaurant and fresh bread rolls

From about mid-June to mid-September you can get fresh rolls at the campsite. The restaurant is also open during this period, offering pizzas, snacks and take-away food. For more shopping, it is a five-minute drive to a small supermarket.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - De ontvangst wat erg prettig. De eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk en geven een fijn gastvrij gevoel. Ook na een storm kwam de eigenaar even een rondje doen om na te gaan of alles ok is.
Het sanitair en zwembad is goed schoon en ook al het groen is mooi verzorgd. Verder een fijne ligging met Sarlat op 15 minuten rijden.
Het meer heeft een lekker zandstrand en ook gras aanwezig. Ook hier is de mogelijkheid om wat korte wandelingetjes te maken.
Verder elke ochtend lekker vers en warm brood.
Disliked - Er zijn een aantal mobile homes die een iets minder "camping-gevoel" geven.

Liked - Le Tivoli pour les jeux enfants ainsi que la dispersion des jeux sur tout le camping
La proximité de l'étang pour une petite balade et le calme en pleine nature
Les services pour le petit déjeuner sont très appréciable
Disliked - La piscine vu qu'elle n'était pas couverte donc même chauffée pas très chaude pour le séjour
La tonte au niveau du jeux de ballon en filet

Liked - Hele lieve eigenaars die hun best doen om je verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Het meer achter de camping was heel fijn! Zwembad was prima. Het restaurant is niet heel bijzonder maar de pizza's waren heerlijk!

Liked - accueil très sympathique des propriétaires
région magnifique, accessibilité piste cyclable très appréciable
nous avons apprécié le calme du soir
brasserie du camping à des tarifs très raisonnables , un bonus pour les gaufres au caramel :)

Disliked - en couple sans enfant dans bungalow situé un peu trop près de la zone de jeu des enfants donc un peu bruyant

Liked - Camping calme, avec juste ce qu'il faut d'animations ce que nous recherchions.
Nous étions avec notre fille de deux ans et tout était très adapté : toilettes et douche dédiées, jeux adaptés, pataugeoire.
