Forty kilometres from Sarlat, in the French Dordogne, you will find Camping La Forêt. This family campsite in the countryside has a quiet character. Enjoy beautiful views from your pitch, soak up the fresh air and take a dip in the pool. Relax on the spacious pitches or in one of the rental properties.

Peace, space and recreation

There is peace and conviviality on the campsite. The pitches are no less than 110-150 m² big. You can also choose one of the rental accommodations. With a swimming pool, playground and various sports fields, young and old will have a great time on the campsite. In high season there is also entertainment for children. There is also a relaxation area with various games, a billiard table and a library.

Necessary facilities

In high season the campsite supermarket is open with tasty regional products. Be sure to taste a wine from Bergerac. For big groceries it's best to go to Lalinde and Le Bugue. Fresh rolls and croissants are available every day upon reservation. This way you can start the day extra well! In the bar or restaurant you can relax with a nice snack and drink. Want to catch up with the home front in the meantime? Free wifi is available here.

Across the Dordogne

The Dordogne is a beautiful region in the South West of France. From the campsite you have a beautiful view, but you only really explore the region when you go out and about. Take a ride in the car, go cycling or go for a nice walk. You can also go canoeing on the river of the same name.

Liked - Très joli camping, emplacement grand et calme. Les sanitaires propre rien à dire.

Disliked - En revanche, nous avons été très mal reçu à notre arrivée. Nous avons passer une barrière pour nous garer quelques mètres plus loin (vers l'accueil) aucun panneau indiquer que nous devions nous garer avant et descendre à pied à l'accueil. Un mal entendu qui aurait pu être expliqué calmement.

Liked - Camping agréable et très calme un peu trop calme mais reposant, l’aire de jeux pour enfants ainsi que la piscine super. Les propriétaires très gentils et réactifs, une région superbe. Mobil home très confortable et propre, le camping aussi d’ailleurs.
Disliked - Un manque d’animation quand même, et l’état du court de tennis et du terrain de pétanque sont plus que moyen pour le coup… mais le reste c’est super

Liked - L'accueil est agréable, le logement est nickel. Le camping possède tout ce qu'il faut : jeux pour enfants, piscine, salle de jeux, petit bar, tout en restant à échelle humaine. Esprit convivial et familial.
