Domaine de Corneuil is a real family campsite in the small Mareuil-en-Périgord municipality. The hilly and green campsite attracts mostly families with young children. The region in which you are camping is called the Périgord Vert. It is ideal for walking and mountain biking. You will also find charming regional markets here.

Camping with a view

This quiet campsite is located on a terrain of some 22 acres. Because of the altitude you are able to enjoy the view of the surrounding forests. With pitches measuring between 100 and 200 m2, there is sufficient space for any type of camping equipment. Don't have camping equipment? Domaine de Corneuil also has various accommodation units, including mobile homes and tents.

Entertainment and activities

In high season an entertainment team is active from Monday to Friday inclusive. This multilingual team organises great sports and recreational activities. Looking for something special? Take part in a porcini and chanterelle mushroom hunt in the mushroom season. On 14th July, France's national day, an excursion is organised to attend the fireworks display in Brantôme.

Swimming fun

In this predominantly warm region of France, you can enjoy yourself in and around the pool from mid-June to mid-September. Relaxing is a breeze with the underwater massage jets. On the sun terrace you will find loungers and sun umbrellas. At the kiosk adjacent to the swimming pool you can buy an assortment of cool drinks and ice creams.

Culinary campsite

In the campsite restaurant you are spoilt for choice when it comes to delicious dishes. Be sure to try one of the local dishes, such as ‘salade périgourdine’ (with duck, ham and potatoes). Next to the restaurant is a very large and lovely terrace offering ample shade.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Wij hebben in juli - augustus 2023 drie weken op deze camping gestaan met twee kleine kinderen. Het personeel/eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk, let wel dat toen wij op de camping verbleven de camping te koop stond. Sanitair is redelijk modern maar wordt slecht bijgehouden, met name als het drukker wordt op de camping is dit goed merkbaar. De camping is zeer kindvriendelijk en er is Nederlandse entertainment aanwezig. Geen sportfaciliteiten op de camping aanwezig, maar wel een mooie omgeving om te hardlopen, wandelen, fietsen, etcetera. Er is een restaurant aanwezig dat elke avond open is, op donderdagavond kun je je opgeven om gezamenlijk met de andere campinggasten te eten. Het zwembad zelf is keurig, echter wel loszittende tegels rondom het zwembad en het ontbreken van een peuterbadje is op een dergelijk kindvriendelijke camping wel een gemis. De camping ligt enigszins afgelegen, echter is er in de omgeving meer dan voldoende te doen. De receptie van de camping heeft hier veel info over.
