You will find Camping Le Tedey in the heart of the famous coastal resort of Lacanau, France's ultimate surfing spot. Le Tedey is the ideal place for a relaxed camping holiday among the trees and by the water. This child friendly campsite is on the banks of Lake Lacanau, only a stone's throw from the Atlantic Ocean. The many water sports options mean the campsite is extremely popular among families with teenagers.

Vast choice of pitches & accommodation

The site at Le Tedey is in a large pine forest and offers plenty of choice of the various camping pitches and luxury holiday homes, such as mobile homes, tiny houses and lodge tents. The special thing here is that you can choose a premium pitch. That is a pitch with a hut that looks like a little garden house containing a small kitchen with tableware and a fridge. You also get comfortable garden furniture at this pitch. Ideal for campers with a tent!

Water sports adventures

There may not be a swimming pool at this campsite, but camping Le Tedey's location right by the lake and close to the sea is perfect for doing many water-based activities. Stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, sailing and surfing in particular are popular here. At the campsite there are two gently sloping beaches with a sailing and surfing school that also rents out pedal boats and sailing boats. If you feel like swimming in the Atlantic Ocean, the beach at Lacanau Plagebeac is only 7 kilometres away. You can cycle there in about 30 minutes via a lovely route through a forest.

Liked - - Lage am See
- Automatische Schranke
Disliked - - Es war zu laut bis nach Mitternacht (an einem Wochenende war eine Hochzeit auf dem Campingplatz an einem anderen Wochenende ein Firmenevent mit 350 Personen). Das ist nicht sehr familienfreundlich und war früher anders.
- Freundlichkeit und Erfahrenheit an der Rezeption nicht (mehr) gegeben
- Waschhaus wird nicht mehr so gut gereinigt
- Von 10 Waschmaschinen war die Hälfte kaputt und die Maschinen waren sehr dreckig

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Leider konnte ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen die Reise nicht antreten. Das Storno wurde trotz entsprechender Versicherung verweigert. So etwas gab es vbis vor zwei Jahren bei Camping Le Tedey noch nie.
Disliked - Ein kulanter Umgang mit den Kunde - so wie bisher!!

Travelling party: Seniors

Der Campingplatz ist großzügig und ganz tolle Campingplätze direkt am Wasser.
Die Sanitäranlagen sind super sauber.
Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und hat eine tolle Atmosphäre mit Blick auf den See. Der See ist auch für Kinder geeignet, da es ganz flach ins Wasser geht. Schöne Fahrradwege.

Liked - Die Lage, Natur, Ruhe und ganz besonders der See und die Strandbar
Disliked - Transparent kommunizieren, dass Ende August Schluss ist mit Sport, Yoga, Foodtruck, Takeaway. Alles Dinge, auf die wir uns gefreut haben und die wir dann im September nicht mehr nutzen konnten. Sehr ärgerlich!!!

Liked - Sehr schöner Platz, der Supermarkt hat ein tolles Angebot.
Disliked - Ich finde es schade, dass sich Restaurant Sunrise nicht an die vorgegebenen Ruhezeiten hält. Es gab am 2.09. eine Hochzeit mit teils sehr lauter Animation und Musik bis 00:30 Uhr. Am nächsten Tag lagen leere Plastikbecher verteilt auf dem Campingplatz herum, das war nicht schön anzusehen.
Im übrigen ist es generell sehr schade, dass das Restaurant keinen Bar-Charakter mehr hat. Früher konnte man in Badekleidung nachmittags einen Café trinken, das wird nicht mehr gerne gesehen. Es gab ein Tischfußball bzw. Air-Hockey für die Kinder und man konnte zu fast jeder Zeit einen Crêpe essen.

Liked - Naturnahes Camping; Entschleunigendes Ambiente
Disliked - Naturnah bleiben; keine weiteren technische Erweiterungen; schade ist, dass es die Natur-Plätze ohne Box nur noch in der dritten Reihe gibt; einige Natur-Plätze ohne Box in der ersten und zweiten Reihe am See wären wünschenswert!
