In a region with green wooded hills, picturesque rivers, vineyards and medieval castles, you will find the child-friendly family resort Camping Moulin des Sandaux. This is a charming oasis of tranquillity and greenery, near the Dordogne river and not far from the famous city of Bergerac. The lovely holiday park is built around a characteristic 17th century mill.

Upon arrival at the campsite, you will see the impressive, old buildings housing the reception and the restaurant. The grounds also look fabulous and very well maintained. With a genuine warm welcome from the owners, the holiday is off to a good start.

Old walnut trees

The spacious camping pitches are beautifully located under mature walnut trees, not far from the fishing pond and the small river that runs through the grounds. The campsite is uncluttered, so children can easily find their way around. The rental accommodation consists of beautiful, fully furnished wooden chalets, mobile homes and safari tents, situated around a fishing pond.

35 m long slide

The swimming pool is also very attractive. It is naturally embedded in the area. A lovely round toddler pool and an elegant swimming pool with a 35 m long slide (opened at fixed times) is an enjoyment to young and old. There is an abundance of greenery around and more than enough sun loungers.

Entertainment and regional products

There is a playground, table tennis table, jeu-de-boule pitch and a room with a table football game and other board games. The shop at the reception stocks mainly regional products (walnut oil, walnut wine, patés, regional wines). There is also a bread service.

"A beautiful large holiday park with bungalows and mobile homes. Extended with a campsite in 2013: a nice place to stay with a tent or small caravan/motorhome. A stream, the Sandaux, flows through the campsite grounds and along some bungalows. Beautiful campsite."

Liked - nous avons aimé le calme, l'accès voiture non autorisé, la piscine et son toboggan, la possibilité de se restaurer et d'avoir du pain au petit-déjeuner

Liked - assez calme, très beau domaine et belle piscine
Disliked - conditions assez strictes : caution obligatoirement en liquide car les étrangers font tous cela et donc c'est pareil pour tous, prestation ménage imposé : c'est noté dans les CG mais on ne nous le précise pas dans les échanges; pas le droit de payer comptant les consommations donc la facture est lourde en partant!

Liked - Bel endroit, propre, calme, pour découvrir une belle region et profiter de la piscine. Parfait pour les petits enfants, piscine jeux pêche.
Mieux vaut parler anglais pour échanger avec les très nombreux néerlandais, qui sont par ailleurs très sympas
Séjour agréable et réussi.
Disliked - Manque une vrai carte dessert pour les gourmands, et pourquoi pas une ou deux animations par semaine le soir (dans l esprit calme du lieu bien sûr) et quelques activités de groupes pour les petits.

Liked - Très chouette endroit, calme, reposant avec une équipe accueillante. Excellentes viennoiseries le matin! Endroit très apprécié pour un séjour en famille.
Disliked - Peut-être la localisation de notre hébergement proche du parking mais bel emplacement.

Disliked - Piscine propre mais pas chauffée
Mobilhome vétuste (lame de terrasse cassé, mur de la chambre enfoncé portes de placards de la cuisine tombantes,gouttière qui fuit) forfait ménage obligatoire de 59 euros alors que le ménage est loin d'être nickel quand on arrive
