The small camping site Le Pin is located in a forest with oak trees and pines. Guests who come here love nature, tranquillity, and appreciate fine food and wine (from the camping site restaurant). Le Pin could give an impression that the camping site is more suitable for couples without children but nothing could be further from the truth. The swimming pool and play equipment are guaranteed to provide entertainment to children of all ages for days on end.
Pitch under the trees or in the sun
You choose your own pitch (size: minimum of 100 m2) and depending on the amount of shade you prefer, you choose a spot in the sun or underneath the pines or oak trees. The grass surface is well mowed and the demarcation with bushes provides the required privacy.
Everything is very neatly maintained: not just the greenery, but also the swimming pool and sanitary facilities. The rental accommodation (caravans, bungalows and mobile homes) are located separately from the camping pitches.
Things to do around here
There is a cheerful swimming pool (open from 15th June) measuring some 110 m2. This is located in full sun. Around the pool is a strip of greenery and a generous terrace with loungers and sun umbrellas. The bar and restaurant are adjacent to this. There is also a small lake on the camping site, in which angling is freely allowed. Special: in summer the camping site organises music evenings with singers.
French culinary surprise
There is a weekly theme evening on the terrace of the restaurant with dishes that are prepared with regional products. There is no shop on the camping site, but there is a Carrefour nearby.

Liked - Unfortunately this was an overnight stop only but we would love to have stayed longer. A lovely friendly and spacious site in a line woodland. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good value and food good. Toilets and showers were modern and very clean. A lovely site.
Liked - A scruffy but still a pleasant site. There is little grass and the owners seem to think that there was no need to remove the few plants, miainly bsmboo shoots that were everywhere. The pitches, where one can actually establish any area IS A PITCH as they are haphazardly and sloppily numbered were large. There seem a totally inadequate number of electricity points and a long lead is a must. The toilets and showers are unisex and when we were there inadequate as several were taken out of use. The showers were fine. Warm water and suufiently large. Did not use the bar ,restuarant or pool but they looked very good. Interesting bastides to visit. A good overnight halt or even for a few days. The site has enormous potential but really needs tidying up. Would nevertheless recommend it.
