Camping Le Rey is a small campsite located in the Vallée d'Ossau, at the foot of the Pyrenees. The spacious and wooded campsite has been laid out with great care: spacious, sheltered touring pitches are surrounded by trees and offer a view of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the small-scale conviviality, the peace and quiet and the mountainous nature. Hikers and cyclists will find Le Rey campsite a wonderful destination.

Camping spots under the trees

You can see that the owners have laid out their campsite with care. Paved roads take you to the elongated campsite, where you will first discover the mobile homes that stand between shrubs and behind trees. You can also stay in so-called pods, cosy oval wooden houses, or comfortable lodge tents without sanitary facilities. The rental accommodations are mainly separated from the camping pitches. There are only 38 touring pitches on the campsite: spacious sheltered spots under the trees, overlooking the mountains. This gives campers a very spacious feeling.

Paella evenings

Camping Le Rey is above all a campsite where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. Of course, this does not mean that there is nothing to do. For example, you can take a dip in the heated swimming pool, located directly behind the reception. Even the smallest swimmers have been thought of: next to the swimming pool is a paddling pool.

In July and August there are things regularly organised at the campsite. You can take part in pleasant paella evenings, where the famous dish of the southern neighbours takes centre stage. There are also nice evening markets on the campsite with regional products.

Liked - Camping qui m'a été recommandé par une connaissance et je ne suis pas déçue. Très bon accueil, emplacement de tente très très grand, locaux propres, de bons conseils pour les visites et balades dans la région et une région magnifique !

Liked - Camping zonder ziel, geen aanrader.
Voor de aanhanger moesten wij een aparte standplaats huren. De hond vd eigenaresse loopt los rond en doet overal zijn behoefte. Ook op onze standplaats. Erg smerig!
Veel geluidsoverlast van onderhoudswerkzaamheden op en rond de camping.. de receptie spreekt frans en geen of zeer gebrekkig engels.. Kortom als buitenlandse toerist deze camping niet doen!
Wij komen hier nooit meer in elk geval.!!

Disliked - Receptie was steeds geeloten, snackbar steeds gesloten, zwembad gesloten, geen winkeltje. Geen koffiebar. Geen frisdrank of water te koop.

Attention : lorsque vous faites une réservation, un mail de confirmation vous est envoyé avec la facture de votre location. Vous devez alors vous acquitter de l\'acompte pour valider votre séjour mais il est spécifié, sur la facture jointe, de vous acquitter de la totalité de votre séjour 1 mois avant votre date d\'arrivée. Ai demandé pourquoi par mail et j\'attends toujours la réponse alors que nos vacances sont terminées.
Nous sommes venus à moto (10 jours) : ai prévenu que nous avions besoin d\'un emplacement stable...le mobil home était au bout d\'un chemin caillouteux sans réelle possibilité de faire un demi tour en toute sécurité...nous avons exiger de changer.
Nous avons demandé un abri pour la moto, suite au risque d\'orage avec forte grêle : nous avons été reçus de façon très agressive par monsieur nous demandant d\'arrêter de \"psychoter \" et que, de toute façon, notre véhicule ne serait assuré que sur notre emplacement, qu\'il ne fallait pas venir lui chercher des histoires avec çà, je le cite.
Donc, pour finir, un accueil très froid de monsieur tout au long de notre séjour, un camping très bruyant puisqu\'à côté de la seule route menant à Lourdes avec un balai incessant de camions venant de la carrière non loin.
A vous de bien visionner la visite de camping en caméra, sur le site, qui est en fait très ancienne et qui ne montre pas la réalité puisque les propriétaires ont visiblement changé depuis.
