Liked - first things, it was fun for my children. We loved playing in the river, and swimming; my son loved playing football in the evening in that informal international games that happen; my daughter loved reading in a hammock by the river.
More, though, I think there's a special atmosphere at this campsite. There's a freedom, which people don't exploit, but is there. The whole thing integrates with the landscape so well. When rain was forecast, Richard as owner came down to examine our pitch to see about whether it was likely to get washed away.

our stay was very pleasant and I must say, given the pandemic, it has all been very good. of course there are regulations, but these were doable and were enforced. we had a great time because of the beautiful weather and the pleasant surroundings.
Disliked - the bicycles for the children were not allowed to be used. I think that with a little cleaning the bikes could be used just fine.

Liked - From the beginning our experience at Cosy Camp was excellent, the whole ambiance of the region and the camp itself was beautiful, nestled in a valley right on the river bank.
Everything about the camp and location is extremely kid friendly and we did not want for anything more. The food provided by the kitchens was of high quality and freshly cooked or prepared.

If you are looking for a back to nature experience in a relaxed yet stunning environment then this is for you.

Liked - This is our 6th year at Cosy Camp and we especially like the pool, the location right on the Loire, the bar and restaurant with its family friendly menu, the clean toilets and showers and of course the friendly English speaking hosts and staff. The site is also car free which is great.
Disliked - It can get cold at night even in August so come prepared!

Liked - The ambiance, the wonderful staff (Richard et Sophie especially), the eco elements and little creative touches everywhere, insects, plants wildlife, fire, cafe, bar, pool, river, views, freedom and safety for the children, friendly people, great facilities.... people come again and again and for good reason. Merci.

Liked - Beautiful location. Loved the river! Good sized pitches. Nice ambiance and all the extra touches on site, including the kids bikes. Enjoyed eating in the restaurant and the plat du jour.
Disliked - Noise in the evenings - this is not a quiet site. Little respect from groups of families to other campers. On one particular night we were still being disturbed at 01:30 in the morning despite politely asking them to be quiet at 23:30. Perhaps a noise curfew would help and to include no amplified music? Guests appeared to bringing powerful speakers.
The flies in the restaurant/reception were a nuisance and put us off eating inside.
