Flower Camping La Rochelambert is located in the mountainous countryside just above the old town of Le Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire department. The hospitable owners at this campsite provide a quiet, friendly atmosphere. You can camp on well-kept terraces, on spacious touring pitches or in sheltered spots along the river La Borne. There are many ways to unwind at this child-friendly campsite. For example, a visit to the sauna or a dip in the outdoor pool.

Terraced campsite in the countryside

Long avenues lead to the very well-kept terraces, where you’ll find flat touring pitches between trees and shrubs. Each pitch is different: at the top spacious and delimitated, or on the lower part under tall trees on the banks of the river. Common denominator: it is quiet everywhere. You can also stay in one of the hiker's huts or lodge tents.

Child friendly: swimming pool and climbing cage

The campsite is also very suitable for children. Probably they can frequently be found in the heated swimming pool, not far from the reception. This outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool is situated in a sunny spot overlooking the dense woods. A playground on one of the higher terraces is especially fun for small climbers.The 'squirrel's nest', a climbing cage for real climbers, is also popular.

Lovely evening at the pavement café

The restaurant has a nice pavement café, where you can sit in the sun. Michel lights up the barbecue or delicious dishes, made entirely of local produce, are served. In the summer months you can also enjoy a live performance every week.

Travelling party: Couple

In september 2022 hebben we met onze caravan 5 nachten op deze camping gestaan. Een hele mooie camping, rustig gelegen aan een klein riviertje, nét buiten het plaatsje Saint Paulien. Er zijn plekken voor campers/caravans en er staan ook veel leuke (verschillende) huisjes op de camping die verhuurd worden. De camping heeft broodjes-service en zéér vriendelijke, gastvrije eigenaren. Het sanitair gebouw bij het zwembad is wat verouderd. Het andere (grotere) sanitair gebouw was prima. Er is een prachtig zwembad met voldoende ligstoelen erbij. Beneden aan de camping, bij het riviertje staan diverse hangmatten en ligstoelen om lekker rustig te kunnen vertoeven. Er is zelfs een sauna. De omgeving is prachtig. We hebben er prachtige wandelingen gemaakt in/rond Saint Paulien en uitstapjes naar Le Puy-en Velay, Polignac en Saint Vidal. Het was een fijne tijd op deze camping.

Prachtige camping, waar je je snel erg gauw thuis voelt. De camping is mooi aangelegd, ziet er zeer verzorgd uit. Mooie plaatsen met privacy. Zeer schoon sanitair. Personeel is bijzonder gastvrij en vriendelijk. Camping ligt in een zeer schitterende omgeving, heuvel- en bergachtig, waar enorm veel te zien is. Ideaal om met een losse auto op de kleinere wegen de omgeving te verkennen. Een ware aanrader, om te genieten, te relaxen en onbezorgd vakantie te vieren. Gratis wifi bij de receptie. Elke dag is er ontzettend heerlijk vers brood te koop. Een ware aanrader en we willen hier zeker nog een keer terug komen.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Mooie ligging tussen de heuvels en een prachtig chateaux in de buurt! Daarnaast was het voor ons als wijnliefhebbers genieten met de lokale biologische wijnen. Daarbij stond er zo waar een vega(n) burger op het menu, wat er voor zorgde dat wij toch uiteten konden!

Liked - Prima voorzieningen, aardige eigenaren
Disliked - Niet de meest charmante camping, wel wat groot opgezet. Maar dat is smaak, wij staan liever op een iets kleinere camping met plaatsen die niet zo strak door heggen zijn afgescheiden.

Liked - Ruime kampeerplaatsen met heel veel privacy, kleinschalige camping, sanitair werd perfect onderhouden (4x/dag gepoetst), leuk speelpleintje
Disliked - Jammer dat er geen kleine superrette is op de camping. Het zwembad is vrij basis

Liked - de ligging, de natuurlijke afbakeningen door veelal struiken en boompjes en niet alleen door strakke heggen.
Disliked - min puntje , het legen van chemisch toilet gebeurt op een plek buiten de camping. voorkeur gaat naar een plaats bij een van de toiletgebouwen op de camping.
