Having found no other campsites open in the area we were really relieved to find this spotlessly clean, very welcoming campsite in the heart of Be Meil - a delightful community that, despite the season and weather, was really active and charming. The lady on reception could not have been more helpful, she was so lovely. We had a great night\'s sleep after an inexpensive and delicious meal in a little restaurant just a few yards from the site entrance.
The coast is rugged and, out of season, wild and windswept but we loved the beach walks and the stunning local towns and villages - which were surprisingly busy but of course not crowded, as they would be in the height of the season.
Liked - Excellent welcome and service throughout our stay, comfortable & clean accommodation, beautiful surroundings, plenty of places to eat and very welcoming atmosphere in the village of Beg Meil and from seasonal pitch holders.
Liked - Quiet and friendly, excellent location, very clean facilities
Disliked - Mixed showers, poor lighting at night, limited opening of laundry meant that we had to waste a morning to get our washing done and dried.
Liked - Friendly atmosphere of all the family that run this site cleanliness of toilets and bathing areas.
Disliked - Roadways around the site could be improved also grass pitches could be flattened to improve comfort when pitching a tent.
Liked - Heated pool, cleanliness of site
Liked - Clean quiet site in beautiful village
Liked - From reception to departure staff brilliant
Disliked - stay was too short
Liked - This campsite is very well run and perfectly situated to enjoy easy access to the harbour, bay, beaches and sea. There is so much to see and do in the immediate vicinity. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
Disliked - Having to leave, we hope to return.
