Camping Domaine du Logis is located on the estate of a 15th-century castle in French Brittany. The historical buildings, such as the old stables, have been renovated and now serve as a restaurant or sanitary building. The swimming pool is located between the old buildings. The campsite is near La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens, between Rennes and Saint-Malo. Take your car to visit sights such as the Mont-Saint-Michel, Cancale or Combourg. Or climb on your bicycle and follow the cycle route along the Canal d’Ille et Rance to Saint-Malo and Dinard. To explore the area from the water, you can rent a canoe near the campsite.

Grand Confort camping pitches and modern mobile homes

Family campsite Domaine du Logis is located in a wooded area and is divided into one section for campers with their own camping equipment and one section with rental accommodations. You can opt for a Grand Confort pitch, where you camp on a pitch separated by hedges and provided with electricity, water and drainage connections, or you can camp on a slightly more open field with younger vegetation. All camping pitches are spacious and have a grass surface.

Swimming in a castle-like setting

The swimming pool at campsite Domaine du Logis is located in the courtyard between the old outbuildings of the castle. This creates a special atmosphere. The swimming pool is heated and there is a separate section for small children. During high season you can join the aqua dance lessons which are offered several times a week. The Atlantic Ocean is roughly half an hour's drive away.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Location is very good for walking on canal towpath.
Disliked - It was our sixth stay, the last one being in 2019. The difference between other stays and this was phenomenal. No hot water for showers or washing up, only tepid. Reception staff offered a solution which didn’t work but didn’t seem to care when this was pointed out. Campsite is wonderful but staff are miserable, tired, uncaring and unwelcoming. Dog of staff member wandering around reception when our own are on leads.

Liked - Très beau domaine au cœur d’un parc bien aménagé. Mobil homes espacés les uns des autres.
Disliked - La literie et l’option linge de lit ne sont pas au niveau.
La gestion laisse à désirer : erreur dans le suivi des réservations, une gérante pas très agréable surtout avec son personnel. Je tiens féliciter toutes ces personnes qui malgré les sous effectifs et les remarques de la gérante devant les clients, restent souriants et aimables avec les clients.

Liked - Le restaurant
Disliked - Séjour insatisfaisant, écourté d’une nuit.
Le greenwashing : absence de sac pour les viennoiseries, mais une piscine énergivore, voilà voilà.
En fin de repas au restaurant, moment détendu et salutaire, se faire agresser par la gérante, super.
Emplacement sans ombrage. Clientèle étrangère en grande majorité, pas de contacts sympathiques.

Liked - site reposant, calme et propre. Personnel agréable et serviable
Disliked - J'aurais aimé être prévenu :
de la fermeture du snack (tous les midis + le lundi soir et jeudi soir) car nous étions en camping car et les commerces sont très loin (le bourg le plus proche n'a pas de commerçants) sur une réservation du lundi au vendredi c'est beaucoup...
-du fort pourcentage au moins (95 %) de la clientèle étrangère (pas facile pour notre petits fils de communiquer..)
le prix de 43€ par nuit (en camping car) aurait dû nous apporter cette satisfaction

Liked - Het chalet was fijn. Alles aanwezig en veel ruimte.
Disliked - De service is af en toe ver te zoeken. Met name bij de snacks was het af en toe chaos. 1,5 uur wachten op je pizza is niet ok.

Liked - Camping gebruikt op doorreis en via de site gereserveerd, bij aankomst bleek de elektriciteit vergeten te zijn, maar wel aangegeven plaats was hoe maar geen 45 euro waard. ( 2 pers en hond). Wandelen met de hond alleen mogelijk op de camping, weg daarbuiten te druk

Liked - Le mobil home premium et la possibilité d avoir l emplacement près de celui de nos amis!
Disliked - Piscine fermée , dommage ! Les enfants étaient déçus !
