Camping Domaine du Logis is located on the estate of a 15th-century castle in French Brittany. The historical buildings, such as the old stables, have been renovated and now serve as a restaurant or sanitary building. The swimming pool is located between the old buildings. The campsite is near La Chapelle-aux-Filtzméens, between Rennes and Saint-Malo. Take your car to visit sights such as the Mont-Saint-Michel, Cancale or Combourg. Or climb on your bicycle and follow the cycle route along the Canal d’Ille et Rance to Saint-Malo and Dinard. To explore the area from the water, you can rent a canoe near the campsite.

Grand Confort camping pitches and modern mobile homes

Family campsite Domaine du Logis is located in a wooded area and is divided into one section for campers with their own camping equipment and one section with rental accommodations. You can opt for a Grand Confort pitch, where you camp on a pitch separated by hedges and provided with electricity, water and drainage connections, or you can camp on a slightly more open field with younger vegetation.  All camping pitches are spacious and have a grass surface. 

Swimming in a castle-like setting

The swimming pool at campsite Domaine du Logis is located in the courtyard between the old outbuildings of the castle. This creates a special atmosphere. The swimming pool is heated and there is a separate section for small children. During high season you can join the aqua dance lessons which are offered several times a week. The Atlantic Ocean is roughly half an hour's drive away.

Disliked - Receptie en vooral de manager is niet gastvriendelijk, hier is nog wel verbetering nodig

Liked - Het kasteel, omheind en veilig zwembad met waterspeelplaats waar veilig rondgerend kan worden. speeltuin met springkussen, heerlijk restaurant. Met jonge kinderen heb ik toch een boek kunnen lezen. Personeel spreekt goed engels.
Disliked - Weinig artikelen in de campingwinkel, weinig informatie over animatie en camping op de website. Bij aankomst krijg je bij de receptie een mindelinge uitleg. Liever heb ik dit op 1 A4 na een lange dag autorijden. Geen afhaalmogelijkheid van pizza op donderdagavond. Dit was vervelend omdat we op de afhaal gerekend hadden op onze eerste dag van aankomst (geen eigen eten mee en vervolgens was het aanbiod in de campingwinkel erg beperkt).

Liked - Het chalet was fijn. Alles aanwezig en veel ruimte.
Disliked - De service is af en toe ver te zoeken. Met name bij de snacks was het af en toe chaos. 1,5 uur wachten op je pizza is niet ok.

Liked - Rustige camping ondanks dat het vol bezet was, door de scheiding van de chalets voor verhuur en de vaste gasten van het camping gedeelte heb je hier een prima charme camping ervaring. Fijn zwembad en overige faciliteiten. Omgeving is super.

Liked - Inmiddels voor de 3e keer de camping bezocht vanwege de ongedwongen en authentieke sfeer. Leuke bar met nu en dan optreden van een band en goed restaurant

Liked - Erg nette en verzorgde camping, ruime plaatsen en mobile home zag er erg goed uit. Vriendelijk personeel en overzichtelijk speel en zwemgedeelte.
Lekker rustig op de camping, je merkte van het speelgedeelte bij de huisjes.
Een echte gezinscamping voor een gezin met jonge kinderen.
Zwembad is verwarmd, wat echt super was voor de minder mooie dagen!

Disliked - Er was wat onderbezetting bij het personeel. Hierdoor soms erg lang wachten in het restaurant. Snackbar zeer beperkt open met alleen friet/kipnuggets. Kinderanimatie was leuk, maar door 1 leuke dame verzorgd. Wat maakt dat ze soms erg druk was met zo’n grote groep kinderen.
Dit alles komt waarschijnlijk door Corona, mocht gelukkig onze pret niet drukken!
