Close to the historic Brittany town of Dinard lies Camping La Touesse. The camping site is located at a five minute walk from the beach (with a lovely fine sandy beach) on the one side and on the outskirts of Dinard on the other side. The sheltered camping grounds are basic, quiet and fenced. In 2015, La Touesse was complemented by a large swimming paradise!
Camping in the shade
La Touesse is situated on intimate and sheltered grounds. There are fields with spacious pitches, some of them offering more privacy than others. Vegetation and trees provide ample shade. The fields are subdivided by hedges into smaller plots with room for two or four pitches. If you do not have camping equipment, you can also hire a mobile home or apartment.
Beach, swimming pool and playground
There is a large-scale, beautiful swimming paradise with a number of slides. They also have a spacious indoor pool, situated next to the outdoor pool. Adjacent to the pools there is ample space (tiled) to relax and soak up the sun.
The wide, elongated beach is only a five minute's walk away (three hundred metres) from the sea. You can reach this via a greenery strip of bushes and trees. The sea bottom slopes down gradually and the waves are gentle. On top of all the great water fun, there is also a lovely playground for children, complete with bouncers.
A nice bite to eat
The basic restaurant has a modest menu at reasonable prices. You can get take away meals there. There is also a small friendly bar. Furthermore, the camping site has a small, neat shop with the basic necessities.

The toilets are not fresh at all, they smell of stale urnine (even after being cleaned) and the washing up facilities for dishes has tepid water so you can not clean your dishes well.
We asked for a quiet pitch and were next to a youth group of over 20 youths that were noisy after midnight. Good location for Dinard though.
Lovely welcome. Able to choose own pitch after guided tour. Uni sex toilet and wash block not my personal preference and was basic. Heated pool fantastic. Spotlessly clean and not busy at the end of the season. Not sure this site would be for us in peak season but we enjoyed the laid back informality and quiet. Ideal location for the coastal beaches and St. Malo.
On our three previous visits we have just stayed a couple of nights before heading to the port. This year we had 19 nights there. Smashing. Nice size pitches although it is a case of \"first up - best dressed\". We only use our own facilities in the usually, but the shower block looks good, although for some strange reason neither paper or soap are provided for the toilets. Pool is good as is the bar/restaurant. Easy to walk to the beaches, as is a nice bar and restaurant with live music on a weekend. We\'ll be back.
Lovely site in walking distance of a beautiful beach. Nice big, flat pitches, though those near the children's playground suffered from noise from the bouncy castle generator until about 10.00pm at night. The staff were all very helpful. We had a good meal at the onsite restaurant which also offers take aways. Lovely new pool complex with indoor and outdoor pools and slides. A wonderful site for families with children with a great play area and 2 small pools in the pool area especially for them.
Nice campsite with good facilities. Close to a very nice beach and local towns. Good sized pitches which are easily accessible.
We stayed in July and found this a conveniently situated site even though it appeared to be surrounded by houses. The beach was a 200 m walk and was v pleasant. The pitch was spacious with water fairly nr to the pitch.
Wonderful site dog friendly with the beach just 10min walk away. Bus to other villages outside the gate.
Water for showers/washing up could be hotter.
Beautiful indoor pool child friendly.
Stayed 6 nights and will definitely be back
Wonderful owners! After 12 hours very heavy rain they offered my daughter and young family a mobile home instead of their very wet tent.
