The medium-sized camping site Les Bruyères, in the South of Brittany, is situated in the middle of the woods, at some 4 km from the Gulf of Morbihan. Facilities such as a bouncy castle, trampolines, a swimming pool, playground, animal park, maze and entertainment, make this a veritable children's paradise. The camping site is well maintained, has spacious pitches with ample privacy and is easy to reach. It is also ideal for seekers of peace and quiet and history enthusiasts. They can visit multiple menhirs in the vicinity.
The camping is popular with many French campers, but the Dutch also enjoy the leafy grounds. History (Carnac), beaches and charming French villages and towns in the area (Auray and Vannes) offer a wealth of opportunities for regular outings.
Renting a tree hut
The camping grounds are subdivided into small, uncluttered fields along hardened pathways with six demarcated camping pitches. Each field is surrounded by trees and shrubs. You can opt for a pitch in full sun or in the shade. You can rent tents, mobile homes and eco-lodges. On holiday with children? If so, book an adventurous tree hut!
The heated swimming pool with sliding roof, bubble bath and a toddler pool with slide provide water fun all around. Also fun: a 35 m long zip-line, a maze of 40 m2, pony rides and a playground with equipment for the little ones. In the small animal park you will find ponies, a donkey, sheep and goats. During the summer holidays, there is a children's club. There is Wi-Fi throughout the camping grounds. Don't feel like cooking? There is a bar/restaurant with limited menu.
The slightly dated sanitary facilities are well maintained. There is also a baby washroom facility.
