Detail information about this campsite
"Quiet camp site near the highway and on the crossing of two important cycling routes along the river Oust and on an old railway bedding. Many kilometers almost flat cycling in four directions in a natural area with a lot of historic towns. Rental of antique caravans (oldest from 1934), unique."

Receptionist superb, all staff lovely. Quirky reception houses a collection of old(ish) clocks and other bric-a-brac. Circle of wonderfully restored old vans on site available for rental. Adventure playground in woods on one side of site, Nantes Brest canal along the other. Lots of craft and cycle tourers passed us, even a man leading a donkey. Everyone very friendly. Sanitations and pool both very good and not busy. Grounds well maintained. No onsite shop or restaurant but the adjacent village meets these needs. Highly recommend walking or cycling 8 km along towpath to the beautiful town of Malestroit and 3 km the other way to the cafe at Montertelot.
I only stayed one night, but found the place to be an Eden. It\'s such a great spot right by the river and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to the village. Very chilled and plenty to do for nippers. Will definitely be back with the family.
Fantastic site, stayed for 5 nights. Lovely welcome from the owners, with lots of really good advice on things to do in the area. Will definitely return.
Excellent campsite, greeted by friendly owner who spoke excellent english. Pitches varied in size but on the whole plenth of room. Toilets clean with plenty of hot water. Pool adequate, cleaned daily. Site in village with small shop & 2 bars & cycle paths starting at csmpsite. Very unusual caravans & \'tree house\' sccomodation. Will be going back for another visit definitely.
One of the best sites we have used out of nearly 30. Staff were great, got us fuel during the strikes. Great spot by the canal. great for cycling as all flat for miles. Collection of vintage vans to rent. Going back next year. Wi-fi a bit temperamental, but being worked on.
Lovely location. Brilliant cycling to pretty villages. Owners very friendly and helpful. Close to boulangerie and small supermarket. Toilets with seats soap and toilet paper. Will definitely return
Camping Domaine du Roc is a delightful campsite that we visited with our motorhome in June 2015 and we enjoyed it so much that we returned in July for the last few days of our trip to Brittany. The campsite is very pretty as it has been imaginatively planted with Hydrangeas which have beautiful dark blue and white flowers. It is and situated beside the Brest to Nantes canal and is ideal for short or long walks and cycle rides in very pretty countryside. The pitches are generous and offer both sun and shade. The shower sand toilets are immaculate. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and added much to the pleasure of our visit. One evening they organised a social evening with drinks and local musicians which was great fun. The campsite is located in the pretty village of Le Roc Saint Andre which has a small supermarket, a pharmacy, restaurant and pizza takeway. A retired horse and a donkey also live on the campsite adding to the charm of camping life.
My wife and I visited this site in June 2015. Owning a twin axle caravan I was a little concerned of access and pitch sizes ect. However following a quick visit without the caravan (as we were pitched only 20 miles south at the time,) we were met by the owners Miriam and her husband Laurent who were so friendly and helpful. Miriam guided us around the site allowing us to choose our intended pitch which was then reserved for our arrival some days later. The site is not large but clean and well maitained also as we like it quiet at nights. Laurent has a passion for vintage caravans and as such he has a small collection which are in beautiful contition and can be rented for a overnight stay for the person who fancies something a little different. The site sits on the south bank of the Nantes to Best canal which is excellent with dedicated cycling tracks that are wonderfully flat which is ideal for not so young amongst us. Typical pretty french villages are within several mile distance in either direction one particular in the direction of Josselin boasts a magnificent chateau which must be seen. However make a day of this trip as the bike ride along the canal takes a good hour and a half, that said the scenery is well worth the effort, passing many beautifully well maintained river locks boasting a grand show of colourful flowers and shrubs. A short car journey takes you to Rochefort en Terre what is alleged to be the priest village in France. Finally, the site even has its own resident horse and donkey who will be exceptionally friendly after supplying the odd apple or carrot, or two.
This pleasant campsite is situated alongside a river/ canal. The site is very well maintained, and the charming and friendly owners work very hard to ensure their clients have all they need.
