Camping de Santenay is located in the southern part of French Burgundy. The campsite, which is located near the village of Santenay, has all of the characteristics that make this region so special. On the site you'll stay in a quiet and wooded environment and from the campsite you look out over the hills and vineyards of the Cote de Beaune.

The campsite can be easily reached from the motorway by following the signs toward Santenay. You'll first reach the reception upon arrival on site. After you have checked in, you drive past trees and bushes to your campsite.

Peace, space and nature

At Camping de Santenay you will be camping in a green and quiet environment, and with a little luck, you'll have squirrels scurrying by your tent. The campsites in the grounds are spacious. Some sites are hidden among the trees, others are located on the grass field and have a broad view of the vineyards. Don't have camping equipment? Rent a lovely caravan.

Swimming pool around the corner

The campground only has basic facilities such as the sanitary facilities and a playground for the children. The sanitary facilities are simple and the facilities and buildings really aren't new anymore. But everything is clean and close to every site.

Opposite and next to the campground there are a few sports fields (basketball court and football pitch), and the municipal swimming pool. In July and August, campground visitors can use the swimming pool for a fee.

Liked - Camping à proximité de Santenay
Disliked - Sanitaires sales, camping de passage où il n'est pas agréable de séjourner (campeurs de passage peu respectueux des parties communes..).
Bruyant très tôt le matin (départ des campeurs de passage, entretien de la piscine...)
En bref : un camping qui mériterait que l'on y consacre du temps et de l'entretien continu

We hebben hier drie dagen gestaan, maar alles ademt verwaarlozing.
De recensies zijn vast gemanipuleerd.
Het onderhoud aan het groen is minimaal, het toiletgebouw half afgesloten en warm water is er vaak niet. De foto’s op de ACSI app zijn aardig gedateerd.
Het personeel is totaal niet geïnteresseerd. De WiFi is erg duur (4 euro per uur).
En internet snelheid is vrijwel nul.
Er is veel keus in deze regio, dus ons advies kies een andere camping.

Sanitair verouderd en niet erg schoon. Douches: temperatuur niet zelf te regelen. Ene dag er heet, na klagen heel koud. Niet te doen om hier te douchen.

Der Campingplatz liegt sehr schön mit Blick auf die Weinberge. Leider wird das Potential nicht genutzt. Alles ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und träumt von einer besseren Zeit. Die Minigolfanlage ist nicht mehr bespielbar, die Sanitäranlsgen zwar einigermaßen sauber, aber extrem alt. Der Spielplatz ist ebenfalls an vielen Stellen aufzubessern. Dem Platz fehlen ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten und in Summe einfach ein bisschen Liebe.

The swimming pool adjacent to the site was in process of major work and unavailable. Sanitary facilities are acceptable, though toilet paper was not available. Washing up sinks are outside under cover, but the water was practically cold. This has been the case on previous visits. There are a variety of different pitches, with some well shaded, and some on a large open field. There are excellent cycle routes accessible from the campsite.
